I sit patiently next to Jisoo and Rosé waiting for the debut of the year.
Then, it comes up.
"Alright, here are the nominees for debut of the year!" The host says into the microphone. All eyes go on the big screen.
NCT 127 popped up. So many fans screamed and all I could think was, they won.
Then it was MMLD. So many screams.
Then it was IOI. That's when I knew we weren't going to win. There were the most screams.
Then, BLACKPINK. Us. I thought we wouldn't get many screams, but the entire stadium screamed so loud I thought my ears would blow off. We all held hands when the groups were going to be announced.
"The debut of the year goes to..." the host pulled out the paper from the envelope. Suddenly, people chanted our name. "Who is it? BLACKPINK!" We all gasped and stood up.

Jennie: Thank you all so much for getting us here, we didn't think we would make it this far just after debut! I want to thank all our BLINKS and we love you so much!
Jisoo: Honestly, there were some people that said we wouldn't be able to make it. And I am just so thankful for the people that stuck around and believed in us. We were thinking about disbanding before debut but we just couldn't give up.
You: Yah Jisoo are you crying?
Jisoo: No, I'm just emotional but it looks like Jennie is!

Rosé: Nooo Jennie don't cry! Well I think I will speak next. First of all thank you to all of our staff members who were patient with us and who helped us produce our music, thank you to all the members standing up on this stage, and thank you to the BLINKS OF COURSE! Haha. We got to meet so many great idols tonight, including BTS, so thank you so much. How about Minji?
Minji: Ah, yes, thank you. Alright. Well tonight was great and unexpected but the result was wonderful. Thank you all so so very much for supporting us with our new album and hopefully you will stay with us until the end. (Nooo pause) Don't worry! The end is nowhere near. I'd like to thank someone very special to me. (Start tearing up and getting choked up on words) Um, thank you- (sigh and laughter) thank you so much to my beautiful sister Jieun. Y-You were always there for me since the beginning and you and I both have suffered from mental illness. I really don't know what I could do without you in my life, knowing that I'm not alone with mental health. Thank you so much Jieun. Thank you BLINKS!

We all blow kisses to the audience while I'm crying. I hold the award and walk off stage still surprised. I hand it to a staff member and then go to bow to the other idols. When we got to BTS, I did a freaking 360 degree bow.
