Since I told Jonah I like him and broke up with Hailie, things have been really awkward between Jo and I.

We talked more and everything and got to know each other more. I know a lot more now.

The awkwardness is probably gonna get even worse. We start a 4 month tour soon. I won't be able to go anywhere except my bunk to get away from anything.

"Jack! Zach!" Corbyn Yells "Yeah?" I respond. "You done packing for tour?"

"Mhmm." I say, walking into my room. "You good?" Jack asks. "Yeah, why?" I ask.

"Because you've just seemed off lately. You sure you're ok?" He asks. "Yes Jack. I'm fine. What do you mean I've seemed 'off'?" I ask. "I don't know. You just haven't been yourself." Jack says. "Oh" I say, not confirming or denying what Jack claims, even though I'm well aware it's true.

I turn on the tv and for some reason channel 4 news is on. "A possibly fatal car accident has occurred in southeast California. One victim has been identified as 17 year old Hailie Mathers, with immense amounts of alcohol in her blood" the reporter says.

Is this my fault? I feel terrible for breaking up with her. What the fuck?! This is all my fault. If I hadn't broken up with her, she wouldn't have gotten drunk. Damnit.

I get up and call an Uber to the hospital Hailie will probably be at, knowing the boys would kill me if I drove.

"I'm here to see Hailie Mathers" I say to the lady at the front desk. "I'm sorry sir, she's passed away." She says.

I feel my heart sink. I take my phone out of my pocket and call Jack "Are you doing anything?" I ask. "Just watching a movie with Nadia, Corbyn, and Meranda, why?" He responds. "Can you come pick me up from the hospital?" I ask. "Mhmm" he responds.

I walk outside and see Jack's car pulling up to the curb. "You ok Z-dong?" He asks. "She's gone." I say. "What do you mean?" Jack questions reluctantly. "Hailie. She's gone" I say mumble. I sit extremely quiet the entire way home.
