Why Don't We released a new single last night, but before the release a lot of drama was circling around the group. Once again, it revolves around Noelle Knight. Although, this time it isn't necessarily about the content itself but instead about the comment section.
Why Don't We posted a shameless promo post to Instagram, instantly gaining comments from their fans. Many speculated that this could be about Noelle since everyone knows she had a relationship with one of the members. A lot of drama flamed from a particular comment.
Jokingly, Noelle told friend, Jack Avery, she would cancel their friendship if she doesn't love their new single. To even make it more obvious it was a joke, Daniel Seavey replied in all caps explaining that she can't possibly do that. One fan pointed out she already did that to Zach Herron and that's when the mess unravels.
Jonah Marais was the first to jump to Knight's defense, telling fans to leave Noelle out of this. Knight's friends immediately jumped on board with Marais. All had a similar message of stating to leave the girl alone and that not everything is about her. That's when Noelle Knight herself gave her two cents.
She wrote, "for the love of everything on this earth, i did not 'end' our friendship. it wasn't my decision. just stop with the accusations." Sounds like homegirl has had enough of this nonsense. If we were her, we would be on the same boat.
Zach Herron shortly responded with, "she's not wrong and that would all be appreciated." Obviously there is still some tension between the two, but at least Herron is sticking up for her.
Seavey, Avery, and Corbyn Besson all replied, trying to make light of the situation. Daniel Seavey exclaimed that was enough drama for one day. Corbyn Besson added his part by promoting their song. Jack Avery poked fun at Besson. That has been the end of any words coming from the two groups.
