Me and Aurora were cute, compatible and charismatic. I matured quite fast with the things going on at home. From my mum's divorce to my new older step-brothers.
I've hated every second of being in my mum's house. I loved her, but I hated him. I hated his sons. Life was tough till I met Aurora.
She was weirdly-wonderful, full of joy and new beginnings and hope. She made life more bearable. She made the visit to my dads a little better. I love my dad, but the journey to his was long and tedious. I never got to meet him much before her as the days were to short for the long bus ride. But the days I had with him were the best.
You're probably wondering why I am speaking in the past. Well. He's in America. He hasn't moved on, but he has a job, and began his fresh start. Funny enough, we keep in contact more often, with social media. Social media was the only way he saw my life from afar. Aurora helped bring joy into my life.
