Meanwhile Caiyne was now staring down Wrath, the fires of determination still in her eyes as she leapt for the freshly blood-stained dagger, as Wrath landed a hit leaving a small but shallow nick on her left cheek. "Your blood tastes so... divine," Wrath said licking Caiyne's blood from his blade. "Savor it while you can, you shall not taste it again," she said.

Meanwhile the regiment that had rode up on the unfortunate trio that had just narrowly escaped death were now they were discussing the battle plan to go up against Wrath and to save Caiyne at the secondary encampment, whilst treating both Malachi and Kane's wounds. "So you're expecting us go in there swords drawn on a suicide mission to defeat Wrath, A SIN for God's Sake," Raziel exclaimed, "this plan seems a little too simplistic and idiotic if you ask me." "Well if you have a better idea we're all ears," Rowan said in response to Malachi's plan. And with without saying a word Kane stood up and staggered forward almost losing his balance due to his injuries, and with all the strength he could muster walked over to Malachi put one hand on his shoulder as if to catch his balance and with his other hand struck him. "What the fuck was that for," Malachi exclaimed as Kane fell to the ground and spit out a tooth. "You Dumbass, we can't fight if we're dead we both have reasons that we need to live and keep fighting," Kane exclaimed, "I understand you love her, believe me brother I do."

Kane looked up towards the roof of the tent holding back the tears before he continued on looking towards the upwards, "Lavina my beloved was slain by the Sin of Lust, I will never forget that day. I swore revenge on the Sin of Lust and for that reason I must live. Lavina Will Be Avenged."

It was mid-afternoon on a beautiful autumn day before the Holy War, the leaves were falling off the trees their bright earthy hues setting them apart from the green of the grass below as a young man lay napping underneath a great oak tree. " What a beautiful day it on God's green Earth," said a mysterious woman waking the man from his brief respite. "Why yes it is," said the man yawning, his vision coming into focus on the woman in front him. "My name is Lavina," said the mysterious woman. "Kane," he said as his vision finally focused. She was the most beautiful woman that he had ever laid eyes upon, her hair a vibrant red flowing flawlessly down to her back, her skin fair and soft, and her eyes like emeralds, he couldn't help but be captivated by one of God's most beautiful of creations. She said, "Pleasure to meet you, Kane."

"No the pleasure is mine, for I have been blessed to be in the presence of such a Beautiful woman," Kane replied, "Lavina was it." Her face went red as she laughed and said, "Yes Lavina's my name."

"So believe me when I say I know your anger, but that anger will get ue all killed if your reckless with it," Kane said as Malachi staggered back to his feet said, "You're lucky I don't want to injure myself further otherwise I would kick your ass. So what's the plan brother." Kane looking from the sky to his brother said, "Raziel we'll need the support of the troops that you brought if we are to pull this off, can we count on you?" Raziel weighing his options replied, "Well seeing as how we need Caiyne alive to return to her father Michael, what do you need?" "Well we know that Caiyne is fighting Wrath in the Merivale ruins," Kane said.

"You are a very talented warrior I will give you that," Wrath said, "But I would expect no less from the daughter of Michael, especially one that was born on Earth." Caiyne looked shocked that this monster in front of her knew what she truly was, because it was not common knowledge that Michael had a daughter for her birth is seen as unholy in the eyes of Angels, her blood is considered tainted. "So you know I'm a Nephilim," she replied. "Indeed that is my true purpose in the eyes of 'God,' " Wrath said, "would you like to hear the story of how I was born from my Father's Wrath?" Caiyne thinking about the alternative of taking on such a powerful opponent in her tired state, she decided to hear his little story to give her time to catch her breath, "Very well, but I could use a stiff drink," she said. "Agreed," Wrath said sheathing his weapon, "This way."

They reached the decrepit tavern that had once been the heart of Merivale and Caiyne still on her guard asked, "So why the change of heart, I mean why stop the fight just to tell me the story of your birth?" Wrath replied, "Simple your existence is an abomination in the eyes of 'God,' but 'God' is a royal bastard, that wants everything to be done his way." Wrath reached over counter grabbed a bottle of Merivale Brandy and uncorked the bottle pouring himself a glass. "What do you mean everything has to be done his way," Caiyne asked. "Well we have all heard the story of Lucifer's rebellion in Heaven that God him cast out, damned him to rule over hell. But what if I told you that wasn't the true story and Lucifer was still in Heaven ruling as 'God,' " Wrath Said. Caiyne snatched the bottle from him and downed half of it and said, "Well then tell the me Truth."
