Caiyne had a look of pure shock and awe on her face she was nearly speechless as Wrath continued his story. "So Lucifer is ruling Heaven as God, only myself, the other Cardinal Sins, and a few of Lucifer's top ranked generals know what I am about to tell you," Wrath said, "Ever since Lucifer's rebellion all those years ago he actually defeated the true God and cast him down to rule over hell, but as the saying goes, 'History belongs to the victor.' Lucifer was the victor so he can rewrite as history as he wishes."
"So Lucifer is father to the Seven Deadly Sins," Caiyne asked, "God didn't create them as the enforcers of Hell as is written in the ancient texts?"
"No the ancient texts are all rubbish. And Lucifer is indeed a true Light Bringer," Wrath said, "He is the one who gave humans the gift of free will not God. God would have rather you stayed slaves to his will and played by the his script, God was a downright selfish and arrogant bastard."
"So Samael's fall from grace was really his Rebellion against God and that's when he came to known as Lucifer," Caiyne asked trying to piece together the timeline of events. "Yes that's correct," Wrath replied.
"So if the ancient texts are rubbish then God didn't create you to be the enforcers of Hell" Caiyne asked.
"Were you not listening, no God did not create us as 'enforcers' of Hell, as it was written in the ancient texts, we were created by the different emotions of Lucifer himself," Wrath said in response and continued to say, "After Samael's rise from the ashes here on Earth, his rebirth as Lucifer, he created us The Seven Deadly Sins, and he took the reigns of heaven from his father and cast him out."
"So where is God now," Caiyne asked. "No one really knows for sure, not even Lucifer himself," Wrath said, "That's what the sins have been tasked with finding out, forever ensuing chaos on Earth until we find him but I'm tired of war, I'm tired of all the Wrath. Care to make a pact?" "What are the terms," Caiyne asked.

"So we all know the plan," Kane asked. "Personally I still think its a suicide mission, but seeing as how we don't have any better ideas," Raziel said hesitantly. "What suicide mission," a female voice said coughing and outta breath. "We've been over this like twenty times," Malachi exclaimed, turning around to see who had asked such a stupid question. And as he saw who it was his jaw dropped as the tears began to roll down his cheeks. "That fight was nothing I should take on Sins more often," Caiyne said as she fell to the ground losing consciousness from the exhaustion of the grueling battle.
Several days had passed before Caiyne regained consciousness, Malachi still bloody and bruised sitting in a chair next to her bedside asleep, she saw him hunched over his head laying on her bed his hair slightly in his face. "Hey," she whispered while gently brushing his hair out of his face. Malachi feeling the soft caress of her hand moving his hair started to wake up and become excited as Caiyne shushed him. "Quiet, my love," she said in a whisper, "I want to savor this moment alone together while we have it."
They lay there enjoying the silence of each others company as they had not had a moment to themselves in ages, they didn't notice that Kane had walked into the tent and he immediately turned around and left so he didn't ruin their moment. "I love you," Malachi said, "you had me so worried when you stayed behind to fight Wrath." Laying in her bed Malachi by her side she knew what she did was reckless, after all she could have been killed. "I know," she said, "but love makes you do reckless things. Even if it means doing reckless things like rushing into battle blindly no matter the consequences."
Rowan entered the tent to see how the two lovers were faring, "I see you're finally awake," he said, "Raziel will want to speak with you imm---" "Piss off Rowan," the couple said simultaneously. "Very well," Rowan said as he left their tent. They laughed after he exited the tent and they enjoyed each other's company for the remainder of the night.
The next morning they woke at dawn, readied themselves and headed for Raziel's tent. Upon arriving to the tent entrance Kane is thrown for the tent knocking Malachi to ground, "You insolent fool," Raziel shouted as he exited the tent to continue his harsh manner of discipline unto Kane. "Ah Malachi, Caiyne," Kane said, "Nice to see you two are doing well." "Not so much my fucking head is pounding and my ribs hurt, why in the hell are you picking fights with Raziel," Malachi asked. "Well this whoreson right there wants to storm the Shadow Dragon's Fortress," Kane replied. Malachi walks up to Raziel and says, "If not for my injuries and the fact that we are severely outnumbered ten to one I would strike you." "You saw how well that worked out for your idiotic brother," Raziel said.
"Well I'm assuming you have a good reason for wanting to storm that fortress in particular," Caiyne asked. "Ah the voice of reason," Rowan said walking out of Raziel's tent.
