"I get lost In ya love!" I sang as I swung my hips, side to side as I jammed to Lost In Ya Love. I was currently chilling in Omar's basement as we watched Maury on his 53'' Samsung Flatscreen.
"See!" Omar shouted as he pointed at the screen. "I knew dude wasnt the father. Trifling females." Omar smacked his lips.
I lightly chuckled as I shook my head. "Hey Omar..."
"Yeah?" He looked over at me.
"How about you chill out." I laughed as I took a seat beside him.
Omar smacked his lips again. "Mane."
I rolled my eyes as my laid back and watched the television screen.
Buzz Buzz was all I heard as the inside of Omar's pockets began to vibrate. Omar slid his hands into his Roots sweatpants and dug out his hefty S5.
Sighing, Omar ignored the call and placed the phone onto his lap. But soon enough, it began to vibrate again and this time the light caught my eye. I bit my lip as I seen Heather's name pop up onto Omar's cellphone screen.
Omar declined the call once again, while putting his phone on silent. His body language began to change as he was now sitting up with his hand now on his knee. I could see from the side of my eye that he was looking at me but I ignored it and zoned back into Maury.
About ten minutes later, Ms.Jenkins entered the room as she held the phone by her ear. She gave me a warm smile as she walked past me and stood by Omar. "Omar, Heather's upstairs."
Omar rolled his eyes as he began to get red. "Ma, why you let her in?"
"Hunny, I didnt know. She just came being all nice and stuff and she said it was really important."
"Ughh, mom can't you tell her to leave or that Im not here?"
"Na uh hunny, You handle it. Im not getting Involved with your drama."
"But you're the one who answered the do-"
"Omar!"
Omar took a deep sigh as he raised up from his seat and fixed his sweatpants.
"Yeah Patty? Sorry girl, some girl was at the door for Omar..." Ms.Jenkins spoke in the phone as she walked out of the room.
"I'll be back." Omar said as he bent down and kissed my forehead. Lord why.
Soon enough, Omar jogged upstairs and I assumed he met up with Heather. But as soon as I stopped hearing his footsteps, I hit the remote with MUTE and was bout to be nosy. I didnt even care, why was Heather here?
After a couple of minutes, I was getting highly irritated because quite frankly, I couldnt hear shit and this wasnt making it. I stood up, as I began to crawl up the stairs while making sure to crouch down.
"Heather mane, I dont want to hear this shit maneeeee! How many times I gotta tell you its over?"
"But B-Baby I j-"
Omar held up his hand. "-Im not your baby."
"Okay Omar, just give me another chance?" Heather's voice cracked as her eyes were glossy as she looked into Omar's eyes, her lips parted.
"No Heather."
Heather shook her head as she took a seat onto Omar's stair. Her head faced down as her hands were behind her head.
"W-What is it?" Tears were now rolling down her face. "Am I not good enough for you Omar? Huh?"
"You just ain't for me ma, and as harsh as it may sound, this bull between you and I are over."
"Damn." I whispered to my self, but unfortunately it came out a little too loud.
"Whose that?" Heather asked as she rose up from the step as she looked around.
Shit. I thought.
"Why you worried for? Dont mind my company."
"Dont play Omar, I swear if you got a female up in here while Im crying out my heart to you, I swear."
"What? You swear what? What's going to happen?" I said as I came out from hiding.
"You got this bitch up in here?" Heather questioned as she pointed at Omar.
"First off, dont be swearing up in my mama house. Secondly, yes I do. I know you couldn't possibly have an issue with it cause last time I checked, Uh, this aint your house. You dont pay rent up in hea' so I know damn well you aint got shit to say."
Heather shook her head. "This is crazy, I can't believe you with this chick!" Heather eyed me up and down.
"Girl bye, get ya life and stop all of this nonsense. Forreal, you looking stupid as hell."
Heather laughed as she wiped her tears and grabbed her purse. She walked over to Omar, as she attempted to wrap her arms around his neck but was quickly pushed away.
"Girl moveee!" Omar said as she pushed Heather away.
Heather mean mugged me as she shook her head.
"I hate you, you ruined Omar and I!"
"Look yo, dont come up in here disrespecting my household and my friend. Gets the stepping." Omar shoo'ed Heather as he opened the front door, indicating her to leave.
"Ughh!" Heather growled as she turned around on her heels. As she was about to step out, she looked at Omar and then myself.
"This. Is. Not. Overrrrr!" Heather yelled before Omar slammed the door on her ass, literally.
"That girls crazy."
