Weeks would pass, and Hook would go to the Rabbit Hole each day. The smell didn't bother him anymore. The rowdy noise had tuned out. And the people there felt nonexistent to him.

All that mattered, was [Y/n].

"How'd you get the Jolly Roger?" she asked.

This question wasn't too appealing for Hook. It brought up unwanted memories only filled with pain.

Seeing the sullen look in Hook's eyes, [Y/n] quickly added, "Only if you don't mind me asking!"

"It's alright, love." Hook wouldn't mind telling her anything if it meant it would satisfy her curiosity. "My king had set me and my brother's crew off to find a magical plant that could cure any disease imaginable. My brother and I... we found it, alright. But we were warned. Warned that the plant we spoke of wasn't actually a cure."

Hook paused for a moment to see if [Y/n] was still listening. He continued after he saw her tilt her head in, his eyes, an adorable way.

"But we didn't heed the warning. We were too naive and trusted that our King was truthful. And, because of that, I lost my brother. So I stood tall and took over the Jolly Roger," he finished.

"And that was the start to your new pirate life... I'm sorry about your brother." For a moment, [Y/n] paused, as if she was contemplating something.

It seemed as though she made up her mind, as she walked around the corner and wrapped her arms around Hook.

His world froze. Never had he expected for something so comforting from [Y/n].

"I--, I'm sorry. That was totally uncalled for," she stuttered.

She tried to let go of Hook, but he had only wrapped his arms around her tighter.
