Kiara

As soon as I walked into class that day, I felt Ashton's eyes burn into me. The feeling was odd, but I had to ignore him. This was different you know? Having a boy actually want to be with me. He could just use me for sex, but he would still crave me in a way. I made sure that he would end up begging for me. I wasn't going to play it the easy way this time.

-

The time dreaded by and each minute made me want to jump up and run out of the room a little bit more. The last seconds counted down as I stared at the clock. The sound of the bell rang through my ears. I immediately darted out of the room, not paying attention to the people I was pushing past. I muttered a few apologies as I went to my next class. I didn't want to feel whatever I felt for Ashton anymore. It was making everything so much harder for me to deal with. I couldn't decide if I really liked Connor or Ashton better. Ashton is just trouble and he and I both knew that. Maybe I just needed time alone to think really.

I was sitting in my chair when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see Calum, staring down at me.

"You fucking scared me, I hate you so much," he chuckled at my reaction.

This wasn't a funny matter, but Calum was a dick sometimes. I don't understand why I'm friends with him anyway. But I have known Michael and him for several years so I can't really escape him. I guess it's not as bad as I'm making it sound.

"Is your sister home today?" I asked as he nodded slowly.

He cocked his head at me, in a puppy-like fashion, "Why do you ask?"

"I want to hang out with her." He stared at me confused. I nodded at him and he just got up and walked away. I guess that was an "okay fine you can come to my house just don't bother me about anything." The classic answer I got from Calum when I asked about Mali.

He never really liked when I hung out with Mali. He used to tell me that he was jealous of how much fun we have while he's sat playing FIFA. We normally try to invite him to go places, but he's angry with us for an odd reason and says no. Calum was just so weird recently.

-

I opened the door to my household and I pressed my body against the door and slid down it. I placed my bag next to the door and changed into something else so I could walk to Cal's.

I grabbed my headphones, a Sublime t-shirt with a lot of holes that Calum gave me, and some black skinny jeans with black and white vans. As I walked down the street, I saw a figure running toward me. My heart rate quickened, because it looked like the person was going to attack me. I soon realized that the figure was just my mother, jogging.

"Are you going to see Calum or Michael?"

"Mali. But I'll kind of have to see Calum. And maybe Michael will make a special appearance. You never know with these boys," she giggles and continued jogging by.

As I made my way to their door, I walked up, about to knock, when Calum opened the door and pulled me in, throwing me onto the couch like a doll. I groaned as my head his the wooden part of the couch, harder than I expected.

"Oops. You okay?" he questions. I nod slowly and prop myself up to a sitting position.

"Hey, I heard you hung out with Irwin the other day. He's trouble I hope you know that."

"I'm not stupid Calum, of course I know that. He's not gonna get me that easily. I'm trying to get him to beg for me not just try once. My plan seems to be working I guess. He hasn't talked to me in quite a while and I'm kind of embarrassed to say that I actually miss him.

I'm just being stupid again. I have to except the fact that he'll just use me for one thing then leave.

I heard a knock on the door, I walked over and opened it to a red-haired boy.

"Where'd your piercing Clifford?" I questioned.

He shrugged, "Fell out."

I chuckled and nodded my head as I followed him to the couch. I don't understand why they had to talk to me. I could deal with him and the both of them knew that.

My phone buzzed from my pocket. It was Irwin, asking me if I wanted to watch a movie at his house. I laughed at his text and the two boys present in front of me looked at me confused.

"It's just Ashton, I can handle it okay?" they both scooted over closer to me so they could see the text.

"He wants to see a movie with you at his house? That sounds like trouble. If you go through it, i wish you luck pal," Michael patted my shoulder a little harder than I expected.

I waved goodbye as I walked to the house I used to fear to enter. Now that I'm actually going there makes me worry even more..
