Kailyn's POV
"You gotta to be kidding me!" I yell sitting in the ally. "Why can't I just have a normal life. Like oh you're dead jk I'm going to bring you back. Just make a decision universe." I know my mom's life is linked to the universe but come on man, I hate the universe sometimes. Since 2018 I fought to keep the world in peace. While a bunch of 'adults' fought the purple grape bitch I helped the people get through them losing. Idiots. Then after five years of hell I just died. Random. That was 2023. Who knows what year it is now. My flipping age is fucked up because the adults can't act like what they are and leave us to suffer. Now I'm the same age as my parents. It's so weird. I mean I never got to see my mom anyway. She couldn't let go of me. Dad's pretty cool though. I get up and dust my body off and let out a few coughs. I step out of the ally to see an over crowded New York. "They did it," I say smiling. I start to rush to the Avengers compound. I enter and I'm pinned against the wall by Sam. "Dickhead," I say. He takes his hands off me like he just saw a ghost. He comes in and hugs me. "We missed you," He says pain in his voice. I smile and hug him back. "So I see you guys fixed your mess up," I say. He does a sentimental smile. I sigh. "What did I miss?" I say.
We sit down in a conference room. He obviously has bad news. "About when did you leave?" He asks. "2023," I say, "I just... saw black." He nods. "Your mom made her existence disappear so you did too, about two weeks ago she came back to find out that Tony, your grandfather, died. She didn't react well." He says pausing. Did she explode or something, I knew she was fragile but damn. "The stones became apart of her so she went back and she kept the timeline together doing so. She took her dads place. She brought back her mom, Pietro, Natasha, her dad, and it seems to be you." I can't believe my mom died. Wait. "That's not possible," I blurt, "I did research, my mom she holds the universe. Is she died then the world would end unless," I pause, "ah shit!" Sam looks at me like I'm crazy. "What?" I look at him all seriously. "2018, the world dusted. I spent two years trying to Avenge everyone and fix it. As time went on, I was need elsewhere, space. I was hired to fix the outcomes on other planets. In return, they gave me intel on my mother. I found out they had her tracked in the stone. When Thanos snapped, she took so much power in that she couldn't ever die. She became indestructible." I say. I can tell Sam is trying to soak this all in. "They galaxy has beings protecting us being sure the universe doesn't stop. So they linked her life to the worlds. It just took my blood. They needed just a little bit to do it and then she protected us all. My job was to be sure if she got out, no harm comes her way. I messed up." I say almost facepalming. I look at him. "You think I'm insane?" "No," he replies, "but if she erased herself wouldn't it undo that?" I nod. "I need to do some research. Just know that I have to fix this or our world could fall." I say anger in my eyes. I leave the room to see Barnes outside. I can tell he's been in pain. "Barnes," I say nodding. He smiles, "Parker," He says. I look at him. I know he's broken over my mom. "Are you ok?" He asks. I nod. "Which thing are you referring to, me dying or my moms death?" I ask. "Both," He says not liking to hear over again she's dead. "I'm fine, nothing I can't handle, I didn't even know my mom," I say brushing it off. I honestly don't care that she died. Never needed her then, why would I need her now? He nods. I know he doesn't like my answer. "What are you doing?" He asks as I walk out of the room. "Being a badass," I replied with a straight face.
I sit in a silent room. I begin to meditate. I let my body relax. "Hex." A voice said. I open my eyes on a new planet. I smile, "I've missed ya. I got to get straight to business though." I say. My old friend looks at me. "You know this is my dimension. I make the rules." He says. "Cousin," I say smiling. It's my cousin, well from another dimension my mom has a twin and she had a son named Hunter. He's a pain in the ass, but family. In this dimension we fight and space with the guardians and kick ass man. "How the hell is my mom dead!" I say. He looks sad. "Well..." He starts. "What the hell did you do?" I say. "I panicked! Her body is preserved. I can't just send her back and kill you all!" He says. Shit this doofus messed up. "You just have the body laying around!" I yell. "No no no," He says with his stupid voice. "Yeah, I do." I sigh. "I actually can't believe you." I say with obvious frustration. "The council 12 wanted her!" He yells. "What do you vote to do?" I ask. Silent. "Got it." I say, "We're screwed" "Hey you'll be ok, I won't let anything happen to you." Hunter reassured me with a serious look for once. "Where's my mom's body?" I ask. He nods at me to follow him. We walk for about 2 minutes in silence. He stopped and we where at a glass coffin surrounded by energy. I look at my mom to see she's dead right now. I step forward. Then I see her eyes shoot open and she screams. "Help me, please help me!" She screams in a blood curling way. She then locks eyes with me. "Kailyn?" She says weakly smiling and stops banging on glass. She just looks at me. "I love you." She says before passing out into death from lack of oxygen. "Hunter..." I start. "I know." He says. "The council will kill her." I say, "then that becomes me. I'm her first blood, they want to lock her up and make a pure universe, let me ask, how many times has she died here?" "24" Hunter replies. "If this hasn't broken her then the council will, they will strip anything that would make her want to escape and then if she's too weak, they will kill her." I typically cry. "As a member of the council I know that we don't have a way to kill her." He says. "But she does," I say, "The cure." Then I hear my mom awake again screaming banging on glass. Then all the stone power in her body starts to react. Everything is flashing and the area is shaking and it seems like she explodes. I look in the smoke to find my mom missing. "Guess we got to get her back," I say in frustration."
