I am alone in a crowded room with people who do not trust me. I have to say it is very unpleasant to have so many pro heroes staring at me. They are ready for me to make any sudden movements and cause devastation. I do not blame them for avoiding me and watching my every move from a distance, they are pro heroes after all. They are the ones that should proceed with caution after the stories the news has said about me. Even though the media did hyperbolize a lot of what I had done or straight up lied to get more views. That cannot be helped, unfortunately. The world is riddled with evil, but the media still has slow news days.
I need to do something to give them some assurance somehow. I need to show them that I am not a threat. I am not Recluse, I am not the biter villain. I am Kumo! All I need to do is put a smile on my face and show that they have nothing to be afraid about. Maybe I should introduce myself again and show they have nothing to worry about. I am not the biggest fan of this idea considering the cold stares from earlier. However, the fact that Midnight was so calm around me that could have influenced them to ease up a bit. I am going to do it, I am going to turn around and say, 'hello' to whoever is behind me.
I grab my notebooks and hold them close to my chest. I take a deep breath and exhale, and behind door number one is- Vlad King. He is standing there alone looking intently at a paper. I shouldn't bother him, he is probably looking at his class list. Stop it, you are making excuses, Kumo. I told myself I would introduce myself again so I am going to do it! Oh, but why did it have to be someone that is built like a brick wall. His muscles are bulging in his red suit, his pecs are even showing from the low cut of his suit. I honestly don't think that is proper attire for a teacher, but I am also not going to complain. He has short gray hair and some scars on his left cheek and neck. He looks a bit intimidating, but this shouldn't be that awful. What was his quirk again? Vlad King, he is considered the blood hero. He can manipulate the blood ejected from his body and use it as a restraint. Well, hey, that is something we can have in common! Blood!
I walk up to him, "Hello, you are Vlad King, right?"
He glances at me, this dude is a freaking skyscraper compared to me! I am like a bug ready to be squashed under his bulky mass.
"Yes?" He says. I do have to admit, the two canine teeth that protrude from the bottom of his mouth are kind of adorable. The gaze he looks at me with is a bit intimidating. He kind of reminds me of an English Bulldog. Except for more bark than bite, this guy has both.
"You are one of the homeroom teacher's correct?"
"Yes."
This conversation is going great! Invigorating even!
"Are you the assistant?" He asks. Okay, he actually asked a question. I think this means he doesn't see me as a menace, at least I hope not.
"Depends on what class you are a part of!" Come on, keep being jovial and adorable. You are doing it, you are talking to a hero and not being a fangirl. So he is a homeroom teacher, but I doubt he is the teacher for class 1-A. Midnight mentioned that the person who I am working for isn't that well known and I am sure many people know about Vlad King.
"Class 1-B, Takena was it?" he states. Nope, not my boss.
"No, I'm sorry. I am Kumo Mugaina for class 1-A."
Tsk, he seethes through his teeth, "Not like that guy would need an assistant," he mutters.
Seriously, what is the big deal with this teacher? Everyone seems to have an awful word about him. I swear this guy has a worse reputation than I do. This might not be a good mix if I have to work for this guy.
