Chapter 3

Summer's POV

We're finally done with the machine and I'm very excited and kinda sad at the same time because I'm gonna be leaving my mom...

Alone, I don't want my mom to be alone but she insisted that I should go because my younger sister is gonna be taking care of her, I honestly don't trust my sister that much but I have no choice but to agree since my younger sister had been away for a long time, She frequently visits them in weekdays cause she is busy with college, She is gonna be a doctor, I don't know the specific type of doctor- "Are you ready summer?" Mogu asked behind me, I jumped a bit "You startled me" I playfully punched her shoulder.

We went inside the machine, the machine looks like a jet plane except it has some features that a normal jet plane have, it can transport us into a different AU

Crimson's POV

We've been walking for 10 YEARS already, maybe months... I lost count.

I and Sophie are close friends, and I discovered that she can use magic and I was surprised, her magic is healing and it's cool.

I also discovered that her fav. color is white, her fav animal/pet are birds, she loves talking about birds and how they are able to fly, unlike us humans who have no wings and the ability to fly.

Nature is kind and is full of wonders but sometimes nature can be quite scary, but on the bright side it's just doing its part, everyone has their own part in this world, it's like we are in a play except we are our own playwright, director, etc.

Sophie's POV
I've never felt this tired before, but of course, we also rest for a minute to eat, rest, sleep, or empty our bladder.

I honestly miss the library, and how the smell of old books, I miss the garden and all the flowers that were never there...

"I know a town nearby" I called, they looked at me like they just heard the greatest good news, I continued "the town's people aren't nice", "as long as there is a place to stay and get materials," said Dreeg.

We arrived at the town's entrance gate, everyone's looking at us with disguised, probably because we haven't cleaned ourselves for days, "We have money" Deerg and Crimson said in unison, "So as I" said I.

We started to unpack our stuff on our small apartment, we are gonna be staying here for a week or so to get materials for the next journey.

My feet hurt so much from the walking, I sat down I'm the couch, I will be sleeping in the couch while the siblings will be sleeping in the bed. The couch is quite uncomfortable but it's the only thing I have for now.

Deerg's POV

I and Crimson decided to go run some errands, I earned 17 coins, and Crimson earned 10 coins and an apple that a kid gave her, the kid is a year younger than us, the kid is friends with Crimson they seemed like they are going well.

We decided not to stay here permanently because our parents might find us and probably torture us again.

"Deerg, I think its time for us to go back to our apartment" Crimson gently tapping my back, I nodded in response, Crimson waved goodbye to the kid and so did I.

"What do you think might happen if our parents spot us?" Crimson asked, worry in her face, "I think it's not a good time and place to discuss this" I muttered.


3rd Person's POV

Ms. Ckulenip sitting in her chair staring at the forest at the back of their house, "Dear, do you have any updates about the kids" Ms. Ckulenip asked still staring at the trees, "Dear, I believe they stayed at an abandoned church for a while then left, going southeast" Mr. Ckulenip explained, "Very well, we shall wait until the perfect time will come" Ms. Ckulenip sighed.

As Ms. Ckulenip walked in the halls she saw a photo, showing the four of them, this picture was taken when Mrs. Ckulenip gave birth to the twins. 

The photo made Ms. Ckulenip frown in disguised and hatred, she threw the photo to the floor making a very loud shatter across the halls. Mr. Ckulenip didn't mind the sound thinking its probably just a feline.

Deerg silently stares at the ceiling while Crimson is sleeping peacefully, he cant get over the fact that their parents have already found them or even worst, they are in the town with them. He thought that it would be much better to leave next week to avoid their parent. But little did he knew that their parents had a pet crow spying at them this whole time.

They should learn how to defend themselves against this cruel world, mentally and physically. They should prepare to accept the consequences that might go upon them ((is that even a thing, dear me XD))
