Neighbour (Ariana/You)

Chapter 2- The Beginning

Y/N POV 

As I wait sitting in the waiting room to see Scooter Braun for my new opportunity. I heard the sound of heels clicking on the floor, the doors open and I was greeted with a petite brunette woman. Her long hair was in a high pony that flowed down perfectly to her back, she was wearing a tight black dress that hugged her curves. My eyes glued to her she was the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen in my life, she noticed me staring at her which lead her to walk over me, as she walked over to me I felt my face heat up like a hot pepper. The petite woman introduced herself to me "Hi I'm Ariana" she said. Hi I'm Y/N. "Are you new here?" Ariana said. I said "I'm new here too, what are you going in for?" Ariana replies "I'm going in as a new artist for Scooter Braun" I say "NO WAY THATS AMAZING!! how long have you been singing for?"

Ariana says "I've singing for about 8 years now. Music is my biggest inspiration, it's basically like my life I really love it, but enough about me what are you in for?" I replied "I moved here to become Scooter Braun's assistant." Ariana says "That's great! Where did you move here from?" I responded "San Francisco, California. Where are you from?" Ariana says "That's awesome, what is like down there? and I'm from Boca Raton, Florida" Ariana was about to speak again when the sound of a door opening cut her off, a lady walked in and said Y/N Scooter Braun is waiting to see you in his office. As I got up and picked up my things, Ariana said "Hey! Good Luck" I smiled at her and said "you too!" 

I walked into the office and saw him sitting down at his desk, through the window of the door I lightly knocked on the door. He spoke saying "It's open, come in." I sit down across from him in the chair as he turns around and I say "Hello, Mr. Braun." No need to call me Mr. Braun you can call me Scooter." 

I walked thinking he was going to be tough but he seemed like a really nice guy to be working alongside with, my nerves were slightly calmed down. 

Scooter pulled me from my thoughts and continued to say "Welcome to the team. I'm very excited to work with you, let me show around the place. your first 3 days of training will start today." After he showed me around the place and showed how everything works around here, he had given an assignment to do. Scooter told me to book at a small arena downtown in New York, for his upcoming artist Demi Lovato. I went to my desk and logged into my computer to find the number of the arena, I dialed the number a female voice came on the other end "Thank you for calling how may I help you today?" I spoke into the phone "Hello, I am from Scooter Braun's management and I am looking to book a artist at your arena, her name is Demi Lovato." The lady replied "What month and day would you like to be scheduled for?" I said "It is actually today we would like her to be booked" The lady replied "We have an opening for Today at 8:00pm" I reply "Thank you, have a nice day." 

I made my way down to Scooter's office to tell him that I booked the small arena for tonight. When I walked in I saw Scooter talking to this girl, I waited patiently for them to finish their meeting. Scooter looked up at me and said "There you are Y/N, What's up? I replied "I booked an arena for Tonight for your new upcoming artist. Scooter said "That's great! This is my upcoming artist that you booked for" The girl stood up and introduced herself "Hi I'm Demi."  I'm Y/N. Let's go get you dressed for your gig tonight. 

Time Skip...

We were at the arena backstage helping Demi warm up for her vocals. I told Demi "if you don't hear the music in your earpiece or if needs to be louder or turned down give me a hand signal and we will get it fixed for you and ready to go. Demi says "Okay" as she walks on stage and starts to sing. She sounded amazing, now the concert has ended. I was walking as my phone went off and saw I got a text from Scooter 

*Texts*

Scooter: I need you to come down to the new studio and hear the new artist I have

Y/N: Okay, be there in 5 

Scooter: Okay!

*End of texts*

I arrived at the studio. I walked in and saw scooter waiting for me on the couch waving at me. I took a seat beside him. The soundboard guy spoke into the microphone "Tape back to the first verse please." He turned up the music and that angelic voice...It sounded familiar...like I've heard it before, it then clicked in that it was the girl's voice that I heard in the bathroom last night from my apartment. After she was done singing the soundboard guy said "Okay that's enough for tonight, tomorrow we will start another song." Then a girl walked out and it was Ariana......
