It had been 5 weeks since the meteor collided with the moon, the worst part was is that we watched the moon collide. It killed everything, my family, my friends, my life, but I'm still alive. I have to walk on the roads full of people that are unconscious, looking, staring, watching as they fade away from earth everyday for the rest of my life until I die. My house is falling down, I have to get away, I have to leave my home, my town, the place I have lived my entire life, the place I loved and it's all gone. The roads are ice cold, covered in ice. They have never been so iced, and I live in Florida or what used to be Florida. The beaches are filled with trash and waste. The water is gray and soulless. So is the rest of the world. I start walking north, making my way to Georgia, hoping to find at least someone. But the chances are rare, very rare. I walk across the iced roads, looking at all the unconscious people in broken down cars, rusted, fading away. The sky is filled with dark gray clouds. I feel so alone, and so sad. Nothing could ever make me feel any better than I feel now. I feel dirty and useless and just so stupid because I could have saved the world if I only told someone. But people would think, well she is only 16, what would she know. Well guess what we could have stopped the meteor and nobody would have died that night. They were inanest people who could do nothing that night but watch there life's fade away.
