"Who are you?" Draco looked suspiciously at Alicia,who, to her great relief wasn't seen by Lucious.
Snape stepped forward, " Her name is Alicia."
"Well,Hello."
So awkward.
"Hello,and you are?"
"Draco,Draco Malfoy." He stick out his hand for her to shake.
She hesitated for a second, " Nice to meet you."
"Well then,I guess I'll go cook lunch and let the pair of you play together,there's a chess set in that cupboard over there."
Draco grinned widely, "Do you know how to play wizard's Chess?"
"No," She gave a soft laugh, " I don't even know how to play regular chess."
"Ah,well I'll teach you," He pulled out the chess set and set it in the middle of the mahogany table that Snape and Alicia had brewed the potion on earlier.
After 10 minutes of explaining did Alicia finally understand.
"You can start," He said.
"Soldier to E2."She ordered,and so the wooden bottle-like soldier moved two steps forward.
"Soldier to E1." Draco grinned.
"Horse to E10!" Her grin was even larger.
"Queen to E10!" He smiled mischievously, " I've killed your horse!"
" Queen to A4!"
Draco paused for a moment, "B-but how?"
At that moment Snape came in with a tray of food. Alicia immediately felt like throwing up;she knew that she couldn't eat.
"After lunch we'll go for a walk," He announced, "And then we'll go to the park,you can take that chess set with you."
Alicia stared at her plate,all that food is for me? Surely this man is crazy. She hadn't eaten for two days,and even though all that was on her plate were 3 spoonfuls of rice and and 3 of vegetables,and half a serving of meet,she felt like it was too much,but she was grateful.
She took hold of her spoon and looked to see how people ate with this mysterious thing;she copied Snape's every move,only Snape ate faster. An owl flew in and dropped a letter beside Alicia's plate,the girl instantly recognized the owl,it was Linky,her mother's owl.
Written on the envelope with big bold writing were the words:
PRIVATE.
Alicia's face paled,it was from her father. She set the spoon down, " Sir,May I go get water?"
Snape watched her carefully, " Yes you may."
She hopped of the chair and ran into the kitchen to 'get water',she steadied her breathing and opened the envelope with shaky hands.
I've heard that you've been seen with a man the day you escaped,or let's say took a break. You are to come to me tomorrow,and you are to know from now that your punishment will be severe. If you don't return by tomorrow I'll come for you,and if you tell anyone I'll break your ribs and drown you in that river,as I intended to do the last time.
Her breath caught in her throat,she quickly wiped her tears away and left the kitchen;today at the park she was going to run away.
