I walked into the room. I was surprised at how small it was. There was a window right in front of me with the view of the rose garden in the main garden. On the side was a small library with maybe 150 books. Detective Aria followed in after me. She walked over to the desk and sat behind it. It was a nice polished wood desk with golden legs, though I'm not sure if it was really gold. Detective Aria sat behind the wooden polished desk and looked at me.

"Take a seat, Mr-," she said, pointing to a white chair in front of me.

"Gremlan," I replied, sitting down in the open seat.

I sat down and admired the room. On the side of the window was a bench cabinet and a plant next to it. Behind the desk, there was a huge picture of a dock with ships on it. It seemed to be done with oil paints. On the other side of the room was a cabinet full of both papers and vases and old trinkets. Beside the cabinet was an old grandfather clock. It was made out of white wood with gold parts. Then we would come back to the door.

"Mr.Gremlan. I would like you to tell me if you agree or disagree with Ms.Noble along with any extra details about that night," Detective Aria said.

She grabbed a small note pad out of the inside of her trench coat. She opened to the cover and flipped to the nearest blank page.

"Did you know about the kids' plan?" she asked me.

"Well-" I stuttered.

I looked up at the ceiling and noticed the glass chandelier on top of me. It followed the rooms white and gold theme. I looked back down and my eyes instantly met hers. I

I quickly gulped and sighed. I knew I wouldn't be able to cover up any lie in front of her.

"Yes. I was raking up the autumn leaves and the kids were playing in the yard. They climbed up the tree and happened to hear their conversation and their plan. Though their plan didn't go as planned,"

"What do mean?" she asked, clearly intrigued.

"Well, they intentionally wanted to rip the dress, but Angelia ended up tripping and ripping the dress on accident,"

"Then why did they get in trouble?" she asked.

"Angelia has this nature of loving to get in trouble. She got up and ripped the dress more, then yelled saying she did it on purpose. She then started running and Mary and Jack joined her," I replied.

"But why would someone want to get in trouble when they had already achieved their goal without it?" she asked me in confusion.

I shrugged. She was surprised and started quickly writing in her notebook.

"Alright moving on. Did Emily stay and everyone else run out?" she asked.

"She did stay, but she wasn't alone. Mindy, her best friend, and Katie, her friend stayed too. And another maid as well. I didn't get a close look, but she seemed to have black hair in a tight ponytail. She also had glasses, a turquoise black if I remember correctly. Everyone else went outside. But I didn't seem to notice any of the regular staff," I said.

She was writing quickly in her notebook. She got the end of the page and flipped it, then looked at me.

"Regular staff?" she asked.

"All the staff except the maids. I didn't Miss Crumble, or Austin, or anyone else. Except of course Miss Krelem, and I guess her daughter Alice too," I replied, trying to remember if I had missed anyone else.

"Interesting, so what exactly happened after the kids ran out?" she wondered, her pen already on the paper ready to write down what I was about to say.
