Jungkook POV
"Sorry but... do I know you?
The moment she said those words my heart shattered into pieces and my eyes were starting to get moist. After a few seconds, warm tears were already starting to roll down my cheeks.
"Omg...are you ok? " she asked and I just slightly nodded.
She then surrounded me with her warm embrace which I missed a lot...I missed her.
Jennie broke our hug and she wiped my tears then she lightly grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the nearest cafe in the airport. She ordered our drinks but then I realized that the cashier started flirting with me, the cashier was winking at me and she held my hand as I was about to grab my drink from her. I looked at Jennie and she was glaring at the waitress with anger like she was about to slit her throat open.
Jennie POV
The guy started crying out of nowhere so I decided to hug him so he could feel better but then I felt a sharp sting in my head, it was like a thousand needles stabbing it so I broke the hug and wiped his tears by I felt the same sting again but I tried my best not to show it so he wouldn't worry.
To cheer him up even more, I lightly held his wrist and pulled him in the nearest cafe. As I ordered our drinks, the cashier was acting all slutty and started flirting with him. For some reason I started getting jealous and by now I was already giving her a death glare. The moment she touched his hand, my hand automatically slapped her and she was to slap me back until a hand stopped her from doing it.
"Don't you dare touch her," The guy said and she got even more furious.
"I'm really sorry," I apologized cause I was out of my mind just now and bowed multiple times but she still glared at me anyways.
The guy grabbed my hand and pulled me to a table near the corner so we had more privacy.
It was really awkward until I broke the silence.
"Why did you cry back there? "
He looked down and answered
"Do you really not remember me...my Nini?"
The moment he called me that my head started hurting so bad and I started getting my memories back.
Flashback
I was walking back home from school with Jungkook, hands interwined. We were just walking until Jungkook stopped me and stared at me.
"Are you done staring?" I asked as I chuckled a bit.
"If anything happens to us, I promise to still love you my Nini" he said and I started blushing everytime he calls me Nini.
"I'll always love you too, Kookie" I replied and gave him a peck on his lips before we started walking again.
End of flashback
After that flashback ended, my eyes started watering and tears were falling down my cheeks for no reason. I'm still really curious about why these things are happening to me ever since I met him.
"Umm..." I said and tapped him.
"Yes, Jennie? " He replied with a sweet smile on his face.
"Was I perhaps someone really special to you before? "
"You were the person I truly cherished and treasured, you were everything to me but ever since you were in that car crash and were sent to the hospital in another country, I lost you," His eyes started to get watery and then he started to cry a lot.
The pain started hitting me again.
Flashback
"Bye, Kookie-ah! " I waved him goodbye as I blew him a kiss and crossed the street.
But little did I know a truck was heading my way and out of no where, my vision got dark and I fell to the hard ground.
Jungkook POV
As I bid her goodbye, I watched as she crossed the street but then my eyes widened and I started to bawl out when I saw her hit by a truck.
"Jennie...Nooooooo! "
I ran to her as fast as I can and put her on my arms and hugged as tight as I can, not even caring if she was covered in blood until I heard the ambulance come and carried her away.
---Weeks after the crash ---
I called her mum but she never told me where Jennie was for some reason. I don't know why she was hiding her from me but she told me it was for my own sake. Jennie's mum would sometimes visit me in Korea and cook me some food since I wouldn't eat from all the sadness I was facing. I was already skinny as hell and my face was super pale, with tissues all over my room. I would go on my phone every night and text her every single day to make sure she knows I'm okay and what I have been up to these day. To my surprise, she has been reading it but hasn't replied ever since.
End of flashback
I snapped back to reality and realized that I was crying warm tears making my shirt wet.
Jungkook looked at me confusingly.
"Are you ok, Jennie?"
I started crying even more, I got up from my seat and sat next to him and hugged him really tight.
"I'm sorry I forgot about you...my Kookie"
