TONI POV:

"It hurts." Thomas cries. I hold his hand as the nurse tries to push his knee back. "You're ok." I move hair out of his face. "Do you want to stop?" The physical therapist ask quietly. He shakes his head. "No." I look at him. "You sure?" I ask quietly. "No." The therapist lowers his leg. I help him up and place him into his chair. He covers his ears. "The music is to loud." He whispers. "The music isn't that loud Sweetheart." The therapist says quietly. "For him it is." I say quietly. The therapist realizes what's going on and nods. "Ok. Do you want me to turn it down?" She ask quietly. Thomas nods. She nods. "I'll do it next time since you have to go back upstairs." She smiles. Thomas rocks in his seat. "Say goodbye bud." I whisper. "Bye." The therapist waves as we go upstairs to our room. "Hey Cher." I help Thomas into his bed. "I brought his iPad." She hands it to me. "It's not fully charged though you'll have to charge it though." She whispers. He shrugs. He looks at me and I nod. "Cheryl, TT has a question for you. Toni was wondering if you wanted to go to prom." I smile and pull out some flowers. She walks over to me. "You really needed your brother to ask me?" She whispers with a smile. "Of course I did. So is that a yes or a no?" She cups my cheek. "Of course." I kiss her. "Yaaa!" We hug and Thomas looks more than happy. "You happy bud?" I laugh. He rocks happily. "I love you." She smiles. "I love you." I pull away from Cheryl. "I'm gonna get some food. I'll be back in a minute." Cheryl whispers. "Ok." She walks out and I sit on Thomas' bed and pull him close. "Where's Katelyn?" Thomas ask quietly. I pull him closer. "She had to go home for a bit." I whisper. He lies his head on my arm. "Do you want to watch a movie?" I ask quietly. He nods slowly. I grab the remote and Toy Story is on. He lies closer into me and slowly falls asleep on top of me. "Toni." Cheryl runs in. "What's up babe?" She looks down. "Kate is in the ER. She was carded into the Operation room." She says quietly. I shoot up. "What- what happened?" I ask scared. She shrugs. I get up, Thomas stops me. "Where are you going?" She ask quietly. "Cheryl stay here, I'll be back in a minute." I walk out. I go to the front desk. "Is anybody here for Katelyn Topaz." I go over to the nurse. "Is she ok?" I ask quietly. "Yeah, we think she was having a panic attack and passed out because of it and someone called 911 she's fine just needs some rest." I let go of the breath I was holding. "Ok." I take a shaky breath. "Ok." I nod. "Ok." I whisper. "What room- what- what room- room i-i-is s-she i-n?" I stutter out. "25." I go to her room. I run to her room. "Kate." I whisper. "What happened?" I sit next to her. "You- you h-h-had a p-p-panic attack and and and passed o-out." I whisper. "Oh. I'm sorry for scaring you." She whispers. "Y-eah." I say not so calmly. "You ok?" She ask quietly. "Y-yeah." I whisper. "No you're not. Have you been taking your medication?" She ask. "Y-yeah." I lie looking away from her. "Toni."

It's been a few days and I'm in the trailer, Kate is at the hospital and Cheryl is out with Veronica. I think cheerleading for a football game. I'm not sure after I quit playing I lost interest because I couldn't think about it without get upset. I'm currently ripping apart the trailer because I can't get my life together because I ran out of my prescription for ADHD and they pharmacy can't replace them for the next day or two. I also happen to take a very specific type of medication because I'm allergic to everything they put in ADHD medicine. There's a knock on the door and I grab my half empty can of Red Bull and run to the door. I chug the last bit, throw it in some corner and open the door. "H-hey Ch-Ch-Cheryl! H-h-how how are yo-u?" I ask. Did I mention my stutter has come back? "How much Red Bull have you had?" She ask kinda pissed off. "N-not much I-I-I just just finished my first one t-today, my first one today." I struggle to get out. "Than what's with the stuttering and they mess that is your trailer again." She ask walking in. "W-w-we-well, m-m-my medi-medica-ation hasn't c-c-come come in y-y-y-yet and and and m-my s-stutter that that I com-completely for-forgot a-about h-has c-c-c-come come back." I whisper nervously. She walks over to me and rubs my cheek. "Is it because of the lack of medication?" I shake my head. "N-no. B-but I-I ha-have t-to g-go-o b-b-back back t-to the the the the ah s-speech t-therapist." I stutter out. "Toni." She looks me right in the eyes. I feel like I might cry. "M-my l-l-lif-lif-e i-i-is a-a-a m-mess." She pulls me into a hug. "I know. I I know, you're ok though, it might not seam like it but but it going to be ok." I start crying.
