Colby had told me to clear my plans for tomorrow so all I had to do was text Matthew saying I can't hike. As I hang out on the couch I hear a knock on my door. I go answer it to see Sam, Colby, and Corey standing at my door.

"Come get in the car." Colby said as I stared at them. This is the first time I've seen Corey in ahwile. I noticed that Sam was filming so I guess they're coming back to youtube. "Okay." I grabbed my phone and keys and walked out the door with the boys. Colby drives us to their apartment complex so I'm super confused on what's going on.

"We're getting the gang back together!" Sam cheered as we started driving. "Wait, so are we gonna go pick up Elton?" When Corey asked that, I had some thoughts come to my head. "Please tell me we're not going to the mall." I say sadly as they quickly said no. I sigh in relief as we keep driving.

We get to the apartment complex and walk down their hallway. We knock on Jakes door and tell him to come over to Sam's apartment. I stand next to Corey as Jake sits on his chair. "So we gathered you here today for one reason and one reason only." Colby started out as he came over to Corey.

He placed his hand on his shoulder as he spoke to us. "Listen brother. We're back on youtube and we're going to the Stanley Hotel." Corey pulled a star pillow out from under his shirt making me laugh. "Wait what'd you just say?" I ask as he looks at me. "We're going to the Stanely Hotel." He answered my question.

"And where is that?" Corey asked as Jake just sat there and Sam recorded us. "Colorado." So I guess Corey and Jake had no idea either by the look on their faces. "When?" I ask as Colby was trying to not smile. "Tomorrow." I shake my head as Corey tried to tell him no.

"We already booked you guys plane tickets." Sam said speaking up. "You know what the Stanley Hotel is?" Sam asked as they started talking about how it was the hotel the shining is based off of. "What? No way." Jake spoke up from his chair. "I love The Shining, I'm so down. This is gonna be so sick." Jake said getting excited. Corey and I still didn't want to go.

After the mall overnight, I don't wanna do any of this stuff. "Are you guys as down as he is?" Sam asked as Corey quickly said no. "Are you joking?" I ask looking at Sam and Colby. "This is known as one of the most haunted hotels in the entire world." Colby explained to me and Corey.

"And the most famous haunted place in the United States." Sam mentioned as we stood there. "Has anyone died there?" Corey asked. "I'll get into that."Colby laughed as Corey started complaining.

"There's been so many hauntings that have given so many people nightmares that they just couldn't live down that Stephen King wrote a whole book about it." Sam explained as Corey and I looked at each other. As Jake started talking about Stephen King, Corey and I decieded it would be a good idea to leave.

We walked to the door and opened it but realized that Sam and Colby drove us here. "I patted my pockets and couldn't feel my keys." Corey said as we walked in. "So, we actually brought you here because we thought it would be a good idea to not go in cold like we usually do. So instead if doing all the research in Colorado, we wanna talk about it all here." Looks like I'm stuck with this trip.

"Oh awesome, so we get to be super scared before we even fly out there." I say as Corey agreed. "Perfect dude, thanks guys." Corey and were both equally scared. "The flight is at seven in the morning by the way." Sam told us. "Shut the fuck up." Corey and I say in sync.

"That's in like, nine hours." We then had to explain to Jake how early we had to get up. "Breakfast is on you guys." He said as Colby told us he'll get IHop. We then sat everything up upstairs and started doing research.

"Redrum." Jake said quoting the movie. "It's murder backwards if you didn't know." He explained as I sat there. Apparently we're staying on the fourth floor. They explained a staircase which has a bunch of energy on it.
