"Is it straight now?" Brennen asked as held onto one end of the banner. I was over at Colby's decorating for the party tonight with Colby and Brennen.

"Yeah, it's good." I say as they hang it on the wall. They get off the ladder and look up at it. They then smiled and high-fived each other. "This is starting to look good brother." Brennen said looking around.

"Let's get the rest of the stuff up." I say grabbing the lights. We got red, white, and blue lights and we're gonna wrap them up around his staircase.

"Where'd that hickey come from?" Brennen smirked while pointing at it. I looked at Colby as his face got red. "I could ask you the same thing." My jaw dropped at the clap back from Colby.

"Yeah, what should I do next?" Brennen asked changing the subject. "Good question, we need to get this shit done." I say as we continued to set up.

"I got the alcohol." Skyler said walking in. "And I got cookies." Matt said following her inside. They sat their stuff down as they helped us out.

After we got done, that's when everyone started showing up. Colby and Brennen were outside grilling as Matt, Sky, and I were on the couch. Sam and Kat walked in with matching outfits and it was adorable.

"You guys are so cute." I say as they blushed and thanked me. After Sam and Kat showed up, Devyn, Tori, Aaron, and Corey walked in together. This is the first time I've seen Aaron since everything happened.

He walked over to me and gave me the biggest hug. "You look really good. How've you been?" He asked letting go of me. "I've been good, really good. What about you?" I ask catching up.

I looked behind him to see Elton and our friend Mike walk in. The last people to show up were Kevin, Jake, and Tara. I look over at Sky to see her smiling next to Matt as he showed her a picture.

She looked over at him as he looked over at her. They both smiled and gave each other a friendly wave. "If this was my apartment, I'd get kicked out real quick." Jake said making a joke.

"Watch out!" I hear Colby say as he walked in. "Hot wieners coming through!" Brennen yelled with him. We all grabbed our food and sat down at random places.

I sat next to Colby as everyone from the traphouse sat with us. Sam sat on the other side of Colby, Kat was in between Sam and Devyn, Devyn was in between Kat and Sky, Sky was in between Corey and Kat, and Corey, Jake and Aaron sat at the other end of the couch.

Matt was outside with Elton and Brennen while Kevin and Mike were in the island. "This feels like old times." I speak up as everyone from couch looks around. "Have we really not been together since the traphouse broke up?" Corey asked in disbelief.

"I haven't been with everyone since dumb and dumber got arrested." I joke with them causing them to laugh. "That's crazy." Aaron said shaking his head.

"I've missed being with all of you guys." Kat spoke up while pouting. We all agreed as I looked over at Colby. He grabs my hand and interlocks our fingers.

"After tonight, we can't go months without seeing each other." Jake spoke up as I agree. "You guys are some of my best friends. I don't wanna lose you again." They all agreed but Skyler.

"Skyler, you in it with us?" Devyn asked as Sky looked over at Jake. "What do you think?" She asked him as he lightly smile. "Of course I would want you to hang out with us. It wouldn't be the same without you." We all smiled as they did the same. Colby kissed the side of my head as the three boys from the balcony came inside.

"You all ready to play corn hole?" Elton asked clapping his hands. We all stood up and threw away our plates. I help carry the boards to the elevators. We were gonna play until it got dark and the fireworks started.

Elton and Brennen were a team while they played against Sam and Colby. There two other boards and so Jake and Tara played against Kevin and Mike. We brought blankets and laid them out on the grass.

The girls, Aaron, and Corey were playing with sparklers as it got dark. I laid down on the blanket, letting the sun soak into my skin. Matt sat next to me, watching everyone play. "I think everyone's enjoying themselves." He spoke up as I looked at everyone.

I looked over at Matt as he looked at me. "What?" I ask confused. "I'm proud of you. When I met you, you were this person who was scared and lonely. You've grown so much from when I first met you. You know what you want and you won't let anyone tell you different." He said making me smile.

He's been my rock for the past couple of months and I wouldn't know what to do without him. "I love you Matt. You deserve someone who'll treat you so good." I say as he shrugged. "One day." He said looking at everyone laugh and drink.

Once the sun started setting, everyone came and sat on the blankets. I sat next to Colby and Brennen as Skyler was on the other side of Brennen. His arm was around her as they were smiling.

I'm so happy to be with everyone. The fireworks started going off, causing all the couples to kiss. I looked over at Colby and pressed my lips onto his. It was just a simple kiss, but it made me warm.

I looked at everyone as they were looking at the fireworks. They all look so happy and it made me smile. I couldn't have asked for a better group of friends.

I just wanna thank my brother for making me go to the trap house with him over a year ago. If he didn't do that, I wouldn't be sitting here with my best friends and boyfriend.

But it made me think about something Colby told me. He said that I was every part of him. Everyone that's sitting around me, is every part of me. I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for these people. I've had some of the best memories with them.

I wouldn't trade anyone of them for the world. And in this moment, I realized I was truly happy. And nothing could ruin it.
