"Merry Christmas!" Dara grins, throwing her arms around Jungkook before whispering into his ear, "I got you a present."

She smirks mischievously and takes out a sweatshirt from her backpack.

"Dara -- oh, it's Iron Man!" 

[ y'all i watched endgame for the second a few hours earlier and i cried so much again ]

She giggles, "Try it on!"

Jungkook chuckles, slipping the sweatshirt over his head. "How do I look?"

"Cute as ever! You cute little chubby bunny!" She squeals, squishing his cheeks.

He blushes hard, very hard and he quickly places his large hands over hers.

"Hm?"

"I got a present for you too." He says, swallowing obviously.

"Oh, really?"

"Are you free tonight?" He questions.

"Aha!" She squeezes his hand back, so basically, they are currently holding hands now. "You are going to ask me out on a date as a Christmas present, aren't you?"

Jungkook shrugs, biting back a smile. "I will take that as a yes."

"You may." She chortles, "Now go and take off that apron. We have to get to class."

She waits for him to finish his last order before his shift ends while playing Hogwarts Mystery and complaining internally how Draco is not in the game. 

"Sorry?"

She looks up to see blue eyes staring back at her. And oh no, he looks good as well.

"Hey,"

"I'm Tom and firstly, Merry Christmas." He smiles, taking his hand out of his pocket.

Dara chuckles at this before shaking his hand, "I'm Dara and Merry Christmas to you too."

Jungkook who's currently making his last order glances at the two of them conversing and tries to eavesdrop about what they are talking out but to his dismay, he can't hear a single thing.

"So, yesterday, I heard a guy saying that he's going to ask you out on a date, so before he could, I'm here to do it first." 

"That's a weird information to give when you are asking someone out on a date but since you already told me, who is this guy you are talking about?"

"I don't really ask people out on dates so," He shrugs. "He's from the college and he's asian, I don't know his name."

By now, Jungkook's standing right in front of Dara and across the guy as he's printing out the receipt of a previous order. 

"Interesting. You seem like a good guy but sorry, this gentleman right here," She pauses to nod at Jungkook whose eyes widen slightly. "Has already asked me out on a date."

"Ah, that's unfortunate." Tom says before smiling at Jungkook, "You are really lucky, mate. A lot of guys have been thinking to ask her out on a date."

"That, I know."

"Have a great Christmas, then." He smiles and walks away.

"You too!" Dara responds. Clicking her tongue, she says, "I like him."

"Excuse me, miss." Jungkook clears his throat as he takes off his apron. 

"I mean, as a human being? He seems cool even after getting rejected. You know, not everyone can remain cool like him."

"Alright ma'am, let's get going to class."

"So, are you going to kiss her?" Taehyung asks, smirking at the younger friend.

"I, I--I don't know that!" Jungkook replies quickly, stuttering, "It's not good to plan things ahead, you know."

Taehyung snickers, "Says you who has been watching youtube videos of how to impress a girl on a date for the past hour."

"Hey! They were just in the suggested list."

"That even makes it worse, Jungkook. That means you've been videos relating to stuffs like that so youtube decided to suggest you with more similar videos."

"Shut up, Tae. Tell me what I should wear for the date."

"OH, yes, Designer Taehyung on his wa--"

"Actually, no thanks. You dress weird. I'm going to ask Jimin." Jungkook says, getting up and slipping his shoes on in a rush before leaving Taehyung's studio room.

"Our friendship is cancelled!" Taehyung shouts. 

Jungkook rushes to Jimin's room and knocks on the door continuously until the older guy opens it for him with a very confused look.

"Jungk--"

"Look, I need you to help me with a outfit for a date."

"Ooh, do you have a date on Christmas?" Jimin whistles, closing the door behind him. "Who's the lucky girl?"

"I'm the lucky guy actually." Jungkook smiles, "It's Dara."

"Dara? Our Dara?" 

"I believe there's only one Dara in the whole college and the university so yes, our Dara."

"Oh," Jimin pauses. "That's interesting and surprising."

"Why?"

"You look good in anything, Kook but maybe dress in all black because most girls like that." Jimin says, ignoring Jungkook's question.

"Isn't that boring, though?"

"It's just a date, Kook. Chill. Plus, you guys have known each other for five months. I don't think fashion matters at this point anymore."

"Ugh," Jungkook groans. "Fine. I should get going, then."

"Alright, have fun!"
