· 1 اَللّـهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صِيامي فيهِ صِيامَ الصّائِمينَ، وَقِيامي فيهِ قيامَ الْقائِمينَ، وَنَبِّهْني فيهِ عَنْ نَوْمَةِ الْغافِلينَ، وَهَبْ لى جُرْمي فيهِ يا اِلـهَ الْعالَمينَ، وَاعْفُ عَنّي يا عافِياً عَنْ الْمجْرِمينَ .

1.Lord! Make my fast in it one of those who truly fast, my prayers those of who truly pray, and awaken me from the sleep of the inattentive, grant me forgiveness for my sins in it, O Lord of the Worlds, and do forgive me, O One Who forgives criminals.

First Day Supplication:

اللّهُمّ اجْعَلْ صِيَامِي فِيهِ صِيَامَ الصَّائِمِينَ،

O Allah: on this day , (please) decide my fasting to be as same as the fasting of the true fasters,

وَقِيَامِي فِيهِ قِيَامَ القَائِمِينَ،

And decide my acts of worships to be as same as the worship of the worshippers.

وَنَبّهْنِي فِيهِ عَنْ نَوْمَةِ الغَافِلِينَ،

And (please) awaken me from the slumber of the inadvertent ones.

وَهَبْ لِي جُرْمِي فِيهِ يَا إِلهَ العَالَمِينَ،

And excuse my offense on this day, O the God of the worlds.

وَاعْفُ عَنّي يَا عَافِياً عَنِ المُجْرِمِينَ.

And (please) pardon me; O He Who pardons the offender.
