· 2 اَللّـهُمَّ قَرِّبْني فيهِ اِلى مَرْضاتِكَ، وَجَنِّبْني فيهِ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَنَقِماتِكَ، وَوَفِّقْني فيهِ لِقِرآءَةِ آياتك بِرَحْمَتِكَ يا اَرْحَمَ الرّاحِمينَ .

2.Lord! Bring me closer in it to Your pleasure, enable me in it to avoid Your anger and wrath, enable me to be in it to recite Your verses with Your mercy, O most merciful of those who have mercy!

Second Day Supplication:

اللّهُمّ قَرّبْنِي فِيهِ إِلَى مَرْضَاتِكَ،

O Allah: on this day, (please) take me near Your pleasure,

وَجَنّبْنِي فِيهِ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَنَقِمَاتِكَ،

And (please) keep me away on it from Your wrath and punishments,

وَوَفّقْنِي فِيهِ لِقِرَاءَةِ آيَاتِكَ،

And (please) make me succeed in reciting Your verses,

بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَاأَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

By Your mercy; O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
