Bounty Wars (Boba Fett x Reader)

Kodak ran, he ran for his dear life but he'd never outrun me. I then cornered him, I jumped up to a ledge and hid in the shadows. "You'll only die tired, jedi." I warn as he looks around desperately searching for me.

This jedi had surely been out of any sort of routine or training for quite some time. This wasn't my first time killing a jedi but he wasn't all that easy either. Just then a loud shot was heard and a rope wrapped around the jedi. He was entangled in it and he screamed. I looked to see Boba Fett had used his rope to entangle the man.

I jumped down in front of the Jedi. "I found him first, Fett. You better leave before two people here will be killed." I threaten and he scoffs. "You only made my job easier, Y/L." He says and I swiftly turn around, I pull out one of my daggers that was tucked in my boot. I then plunge the dagger into the man's abdomen and his eyes widen as he drops to his knees, and finally his torso lifelessly hits the ground.

I take his lightsaber and I turn around to face Boba and I narrow my eyes. "It's over Fett I've got the saber. Now go drown your sorrows in boose." I say snarkily and he scoffs. "I'm not the only one that does that." He lifts up his arm, "Now give me the lightsaber or I'll make sure your fate will be the same as that Jedi's you just murdered." Then suddenly the lightsaber was snatched out of my hand and I look up to see IG-88 climb away, Bossk runs as well along with IG-88.

"Those assholes are working together!" I yell as I then jump up and climb up after them. I hear Boba use his jet pack as he easily passes me I then jump and grab his shoulders. "Hey! What the- get off of me!" He exclaims as he tries to pull my arms off of him.

"We need to work together to get that lightsaber, we can't defeat them by ourselves!" I exclaim and I hear him sigh out of frustraition, he quits fighting me and continues upwards until we reach the top.

I then swiftfully jump off of Boba and run after the droid and the scaley creature. I then do a wall jump and jump onto IG-88. He falls and drops the lightsaber. It rolls to Bossk's feet and he picks it up with a hiss, then a rope wraps around the lightsaber. Boba Fett yanks the lightsaber out of his hands and while I had been distracted IG-88's legs twist around and kick me off of him.

I make a loud thud on a piece of metal as my back hits it, slightly knocking the air out of me. I get up as fast as possible to see IG-88 grab the lightsaber but Boba Fett doesn't let it slip from his grip and they struggle to reclaim the lightsaber for themselves. I then see the opening is pointed at Boba Fett and IG-88 reaches a finger to press the button to unleash the beam of plasma.

I whip out my blaster and I shoot at the head of IG-88. His grip loosens and Boba then again yanks the lightsaber out of his grip. Boba then runs towards me and he grabs my wrist. His jetpack activates and he lifts me up in the air. I let out a small yelp at the sudden action and then I see Bossk run after us and jump.

Bossk grabs onto my leg and begins to climb up my body, it starts to weigh us down and we begin to decend. I then whip out another dagger with my free hand and I stab and drag up my dagger in Bossk's arm. He screeches and lets go, he then falls a good two stories onto the roof of another building. I then put my dagger away and Boba and I fly away.

"Down there." I point to the speeder I arrived in as I knew his jetpack wouldn't last the whole way to our ships. We then decended to the speeder and got in. As I was starting up the speeder something landed in the speeder and began to beep. I quickly realized what it was and Boba yelled, "Jump!" I then jumped out of the speeder and rolled as it exploded.

As I was getting up something hard hit the back of my head and I fell back down. I was rolled over and a cold barrel of a blaster was pointed to my head. "I never liked you." I hear a familiar accent and I knew it to be Dengar's.

"Dengar." I hissed and he only smirked. My head pounded as I thought of countless ways I could try and escape this situation. Suddenly I heard another familiar voice that said, "Roll!" I quickly do as I'm told and I roll off to the side. Then an explosion behind Dengar caused him to go flying and I shielded myself from the blast.

Then a blaster was faintly heard and I quickly sat up. My ears were ringing as I looked around but smoke clouded my vision. Suddenly a faint sillouhette came out from the smoke and I looked up to recognize it as Boba Fett. He held out his hand and I took it.

He helped me up and I got up with a grunt. The ringing in my ears slowly began to fade but I kept coughing as the smoke filled my lungs and I grew too weak to stand on my own.

Boba swung my arm over his shoulder as he helped me out of the smoke and to a speeder one of the other hunters must have used to get here. Boba helped me in the speeder as he sat on the passenger's side. I coughed horrendously as he drove us back to the more populated side of the city.

What a night.
