"Jennelle." Reaching my hand out, like Sonya did earlier. Where did this much confidence come from. I don't know nor do I care, I'll figure that out later.

"Joshua, but also known as Josh." He reaches over and shake my empty hand.

I smile looking at our hands and the shake that runs through my body.

"Alright Josh, I'm also known as Jen but its only Sonya who call me that. I shorten her name as well but its Son like a mothers or fathers child,"

I pause noticing I'm talking too much.

"I'm talking too much aren't?"

Instead of answering me, he laughs. He's laughing at me or laughing with me but then again I'm not laughing.
He's laughing at me. I frown.

"Yes your are but that's okay. I talk a lot at times, mostly when I'm nervous.
Raising a eyebrow at me in question.

"Are you nervous?" He asks me.

"No I'm not nervous, why would I be nervous?, nope I'm not nervous" I answer nervously, yeah I know I can't help the way this stranger makes me feel.

He smirks and I smile shyly and look at our hands together still. I immediately pull back.

"I'm sorry." I say.

"That's okay." He's still smiling. "Sit." He commands, pats the stool next to him. I look over at Sonya.

She's seated and babbling with her new friend Kendrick. Wow! Way to go Sonya I feel so secure right now.

I am secure I actually feel safe around Josh but I'm nervous for the things I might say.

Taking the seat next to him.

"So Jennelle what's your full name for starters?" He questions.

"Jennelle Small, how about you?"

"Joshua Chambers."

I blush at the thought of me taking that name. What is wrong with me. I just met the guy and now I'm thinking of taking his last name. 'Get a grip' I tell myself.

"You come here often Josh?" I asked him wanting to know so that I can come here just to see him.

"Not really, mostly to to come and celebrate with Ken and hopefully to go home with someone."

"Celebrate what?" Ignoring that he said to go home with someone.

"Life, to celebrate that we have life," He explains.

"Oh." So you come here to celebrate and go home with women to do as you please with them? I question him in my mind.

"Not everyday though, only Friday's."Josh says.

"Oh nice, much more sense." The thought of him coming here everyday and sleep with different women per day, isn't good.

Turning facing me fully. "Yeah, how about you? I've never seen you here."

"No its my first time here, I'm on a mission actually." I look at him.

"What's the mission?" He asks looking over the counter.

"I can't tell you,"

"Why?"

"Because I can't." I do want to tell him but I'm afraid it scare him off.

"You want a drink?" He turns his attention to me again.

This will be the second time I'm drinking. First time I really didn't like it. It was bitter and I didn't plan on drinking ever again until now. I find it hard to say no to him

"Yeah."  I'm going to regret this later.

He waves for the bartender.
"Okay so can we cheers to your unknown mission and me celebrating to meeting a beautiful lady?

"Okay" I respond grinning like a teenager at him calling me beautiful.

"Vodka,"He tells the lady behind the counter then turn to me with a what-do-you-want look.

"Same please." I tell him.

She's dressed in full black. Black blouse and black skirt. Her blonde hair pull to the back in ponytail. I can't see her shoes, it probably be black also.

She heads off.

"Tell me about yourself Jen." He pulls me out from watching the bartender.

"There's not much honestly, Um...I'm 21, lived here for about 6 years now. I'm from Jamaica.

"So why you left there?" He asks.

" I wanted to pursue my career here. I think here is the best place to start off your career but I don't really think so again."

"What's the career?"

"Wedding planning. I obsessed with planning things especially for others and I love weddings even though I have only been to 2 in my entire life. I have a lack in how weddings go really but I do have an idea.

He smiles at me but this time I get to see his smile. "Who's wedding are those?"

"My grandmother's and my uncle's, marriage is the most popular thing in this generation but I still believe in it."

"Does your boyfriend believe in marriage?"

The bartender is back with our drinks. I thank her and put the drink to my mouth. Its good really good not as bitter as the other drink I had.

"You didn't answer me." His tone sounds a but harsh now.

"What's that again." I forgot

"Your boyfriend, does he believe in marriage?"
