Livia was studying. Or, attempting to. He was mostly listening to music while he half-heartedly looked through his books, wishing he were out with one of his friends, or maybe Christian, instead.
His room was sectioned off into smaller rooms by swaths of fabric hanging from the ceiling. His father was an evil asshole, but at least he'd sprung for a bigger room to make it look like he cared, even if Livia did know better.
But he was able to get three rooms out of one, a bedroom, a TV room, and a study, so there was at least that.
He tapped his pencil on his desk in time to the music, eyes darting over the pages but not really reading. Then, his favorite song came on, and he couldn't hold it in anymore. He threw his hands up and kicked out his seat from under his desk and sprung up, dancing like the world was about to end and his sick moves were the only thing that could stop it.

Christian knocked on Livia's door. He rearranged his bookbag, slung over his shoulder, and waited. Nothing.
He knocked again.
Still nothing.
He leaned closer, pressing his ear to the wooden door. He didn't hear any loud music or TV coming through.
"Hm." He knocked one more time and called out, "Livia?"
Still no answer.
He tried the doorknob. Unlocked. Livia had always said Christian was allowed in as long as the door was open or unlocked, so Christian pushed the door open and called out again,
"Livia?"
He peeked in and muffled a snort of laughter. Livia's headphones were on and his back was to the door, hips swaying and arms flailing as he danced. He was graceful, so much more graceful than Christian, even when he was just screwing around. Livia gyrated his hips and then mimed spanking someone bent over in front of him, and Christian finally did laugh, and he entered the room and closed the door behind him. Livia whirled around in a spin and stumbled to a stop when he saw Christian there, and he squawked, "Knock first!"
"I did!" Christian laughed. "Three times!"
"Oh." Livia pulled his headphones off and draped them around his neck. He waggled his eyebrows and leaned closer. "Like what you see?"
Christian's grin softened and he pulled Livia into a kiss.
"Always," he chuckled into Livia's mouth.
"Yes!" Livia laughed.
And despite the books all over the desk and the floor, there was no more studying that afternoon.
