Chapter 24

Matt's POV

I looked over at Leslie and she looked kind of sad.

"Hey babe what's wrong?" I asked softly.

"Nothing." She snapped.

"Leslie come on tell me."

"You wanna know what's wrong?" She said harshly.

Well that's the pregnancy hormones talking

"Yes Leslie I kind of do." I said.

" I'm jealous. There happy now?"

"Why are you jealous?"

"When Adriana called and she said she was bringing her boyfriend, I looked over at you and you face went from happy to sad or mad or I don't know."

"Babe, Leslie, Les I was sad because Adriana is like my little sister an I got upset and got mad because I want her to be okay just like I want you and Nikki to be okay."

"Okay I'm sorry I guess the pregnancy hormones were kicking in."

"It's alright I understand."

"Thanks I love you."

"I love you too."

I leaned in and gave her a peck on her check.

"Owww." Leslie groaned.

"What wrong baby?" I asked worriedly.

" Nicole. She just kicked me."

"Really? Where?"

"Right here." She said pointing to the spot on her stomach.

I put my hand on her stomach. I felt a little foot press onto my hand.

"Hey Nikki it's your daddy." I cooed.

I felt her foot press up on my hand again.

"Your mommy and I can't wait till your born. You'll be surrounded by a lot of love. I love you so much."

I leaned down and kissed Leslie's stomach.

I looked over at Leslie and she was on the verge of tears.

"Baby what's wrong?"

"Your gonna be a great dad."

"Thanks but I could never beat you."

"What do you mean?" She asked curiously.

"Your gonna be the best mom ever."

"Thanks Matt."

"No problem."

"I love you."

"I love you too."
