"Eddie, it's time. Take your pills."

Oh, shit. Here he comes again. Eddie looks at the clock on the wall. Indeed, it's time for drugs already.

Honestly, he doesn't have any clue why he keep doing this. His mother always makes him to do this routine all day. He wanted to skip doing that once, but her mother would yelled at him. He couldn't take it. Not even a minute. So he took the first pill unwillingly--and swallowed it. It wasn't that hard to swallow such a big pill because he had gotten used to doing it since six. Therefore, it has become his daily habbit.

After his dad died because of cancer, his mother changed to be very strict to him. She keeps telling Eddie scary stories about disease--that the world is full of germs. She wouldn't let her only son contaminated with such things. She made rules--and willy-nilly Eddie had to obey every single of it.

Eddie sighed. He is bored. At this time, he could join his friend--maybe Bill or Richie to play some games. He wanted to do it, actually. But he doubt that her mother would allowed him. He looks at his mom hesitantly.

"Uhm. Mom, can i play with my friends?"

Only silence he gets. It seems like Ms. Kaspbrak wasn't pay attention to him at all.

"Eddie you don't need friends, you have your mom here."

Bullshit. Eddie rolled his eyes.

"They've got new marbles. Please, can i join them?"

His mother stares. It's kind of terrifying.

"Oh my Eddie-bear, don't you dare to play with them. You know that they're a bad influencer to you."

"Uh--they're not mom. Please..."

"..."

"--See, i've take my pills. So, can i go out now? It's just for a while--i'm promise."

There was a brief silnce. His mother turns out to be red. Although she couldn't stand because of her overweight, Eddie knows that a serious disaster is about coming to release.

"LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER, EDWARD!"

Fuck. He was right.

"I DON'T LIKE DEFIENCE! LAST TIME YOU GO OUT WITH THEM, YOU CAME HOME UNSAFELY. YOU WAS FULL OF DISGUSTING DIRTS!"

Fuck it. He couldn't defence himself. He can't do anything against his mother. He turns out to be speechless.

"..NOW, GET SOME REST ON YOUR BED!"

Eddie couldn't bear with his mom anymore, so he runs to his room. Locking the door and throwing himself on bed. It's ridiculous. His friends weren't like his mother thought.

He's thirteen already for God's sake! But screw it. He cries on the sly like there's no bright tomorrow.

It turns to another day. Eddie walked to the dispensary lazily. He gives the pharmacist his recept. His drugs was about to empty so he gotta buy it as it's his mother's daily command.
