I knew who Dylan Tally was. Of course I knew who Dylan was. Dylan was practically a walking Ray of sunshine. You couldn't go to Westfort High School without knowing who Dylan Tally was. He was the epitome of perfect according to the whole school practically.
I couldn't stand him.
I suppose if I'm going to tell my story I should probably start by telling you who I am. Not who Dylan is.
My name is Clayrence Mace Andrew. I'm currently 18 years old living with my mom and my younger sister, Clarisse. I'm one of those people who others take one look at and stereotype. I'm not a bad guy. I swear. I get good grades, I have a solid job, and I go home to help my mom and my sister. I love spending time with my family.
If you were to ask anyone I go to school with, they'd probably tell you a murdered a man once. Now, this may come as a shock to you, but I haven't.
I have two friends, Silas and Rebekah. Silas is pretty much exactly like me only he has the looks of your stereotypical all-American boy. Guess who didn't get the tough guy stereotype. Rebekah is the odd one of the group. She looks all sweet and innocent. She has these two dimples when she smiles wide. Many people have tried to get her away from our group. They warn her saying we're no good and we're just going to drag her down with us. In all honesty, out of the three of us, she the most likely to murder someone. You do not want to see Rebekah Liteliegh angry let alone be on the receiving end of that anger.
We met in first grade. Silas and I just so happened to share a table and got on well enough. Rebekah wanted to be our friend since she sat at the single desk just to the right of our table. We denied her for the longest time. No guy wanted a girl in their gang in first grade. That was the age of forts with no opposite genders allowed in. However, about halfway through the year, Silas had to get glasses. Some kid was teasing him about and and just as i was about to blow a gasket, Rebekah came up out of nowhere and kicked the kid in the shin. Rebekah has been with us ever since.
Silas and Rebekah dated for a while and by a while I mean from freshman year to beginning of Junior year. They broke up when Rebekah realized Silas had his eyes on someone else. This someone else would be Silas's boyfriend, Miles. Nobody is entirely sure how that one happened but one day Silas just showed up to school, opened his passenger side door, and out popped Miles reaching for Silas's hand. Silas accepted his hand and looked at everyone like that was supposed to answer any of their questions. Apparently it worked because no one messed with them. Well... One kid messed with Miles but he ended up with a broken nose. That's when we learned Silas I very protective.
Needless to say, Miles slowly became a part of our group. I suppose that's how I got myself in this situation. What is this situation, you ask? Well... I've got a very drunk Dylan Tally attached to my lips, but let's back up. Shall we?
