Conner's P.O.V.

'WE HAVE A MATH TEST?!'

'Uhh... Don't tell me you have forgotten about it, you punk', I heard Aiden grumbled beside me.

We were just walking in one of the school's hallways and I kept on babbling random stuffs that will make this man beside me get very irritated. I am great in doing those things for him.

One time, as I kept on talking, I saw one of our classmates and heard their conversation. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but it looks like important, yet only one word made me super anxious. It was the word "Math".

I immediately cut off what I was babbling and looked at Aiden in a quick turn.

'That's what you get, you lazy tanned match-maker', Aiden cursed, not finished with what he was saying earlier.

Instantly, my mouth caught my finger, my teeth biting it in the process. Whenever I get nervous, I do this actions. Yup, mannerism is truly the only cure to my uneasiness. Kidding.

As I continued on this forbidden actions, my mom said so herself, I haven't noticed that I was already sitting on my desk.

To be honest, I heard that the test is on Wednesday, so there is still time to review, but what was really bothering me is that...

I am too dumb for this world.

Also, I hate my mother's nagging to me every day whenever I got a "F" on my tests.

Don't be surprised, all of my tests are lower than your grades.

And my brain is slower than your cheap Wi-fi, got that?

My first subject today is, English. YEEEEHHHEY.

I sighed contently when our professor was just teaching smoothly, and me not listening that attentively.

'Understood?', Mrs. Bailey stated that it made me confused, but nonetheless, did not care. I was only drawing continous circles on one of my abandoned notebooks, until...

'Take out a piece of pad paper, we will be having a quick test to what you have learned for today's lesson, and I expect that you, Mr. Stoll have been listening to our discussion earlier', she said with her usual serious tone. Scary.

Well, pray for my life, 'cause later on I'll be dead. Sayonara! *salute.

\=^~*=/

Yes! I was safe! She didn't call for my name, haha.

Nah, kidding. She only spare me a glare, 'cause I passed the specific score she once told us. If she said the items are 20 in total, the passing score is 10, add one point to that and that's my score, y'all!

I sighed with a smile on my face, my hands slithering in my jacket's pockets. Aiden beside me, again.

'So, you're saying, she just freed you like that?'

'Yeah, unbelievable, right?', I exclaimed like a little child having to met their favorite... ummm, ahhh--

'Dude, what are you doing in your dumb head?'

'Ummm, solving a problem..?'

Aiden shook his head, his eyes half opened, along with her mouth parted, showing how "amused" he is with my stupidness.

I can't blame him though, but at least I'm great at my one and only course.

'What are you gonna do with your math test?', Aiden blurted out of the blue. My face turned pale instantly and my mind focused at my past lessons in my Math class.
