Rigor Mortis

"Finally, I'm Finished!" Test tube said, she said as she gently placed down a small tin robot.

she looked at the robot, then picked it up once again, she picked up a wireless controller, then walked outside. she walked down a stone pathway, holding the robot in her arms, she walked pass a few houses, when, a neighbor spotted her.

"Hey test tube!" They called, it was OJ.

a thing to know is that Test Tube lived in a rather rich area, so, It was common to see rich folk, prancing around in high heels and gold chains with their pure-blood dogs. But Oj? He was the richest of them all, the smartest one too.

"Oh, hey OJ!" she said, looking over at her old neighborhood friend, a grin on her face.

the two had been close since they where little, though, now they where different as yin and yang, they where still best buds.

"you heading off to the library again?" he walked down to Test tube and stood beside her. "I'm going there too, so, I can ride you there if you want me too." he said, pointing to his car.

"No thanks, i'm heading off to the weeping willow to test out this bad boy." she said, holding up her robot proudly.

OJ gasped, in slight concern "the weeping willow? Don't you know that place is cursed as all heck?!"

Test tube rolled her eyes and started to walk "there's no such thing as curses, Oj! I'll be fine!" she continued to walk when she shouted again "I'll Come back, then we can go get some coffee together, Okay?"

Oj nodded then got into his car and drove the other way, while, Test tube continued to walk.

after a few minutes of walking, she eventually reaches the forest's edge. test tube never understood why the forest was called the 'weeping willow,' from what she saw, there where no willows in there from what she knows. all there is are oak trees and ever-greens.

she gently placed down the robot, stepped back, and started to control it with the remote. it worked flawlessly. but, as she was driving the lil robot around, it bumped into a pebble, and changed directions. it then headed into the forest.

"dang it!" she said, she then ran after the little guy.

she then stopped once she stepped into the forest completely. it seemed as if something was off. very off. she turned around, thinking she could just leave the forest and make a new bot, but, when she turned to go home, all she saw was an endless forest, not a grassy field like the one she was on.

"what the?" she stepped back, she started to panic.

"i'm just dreaming, aren't I? yeah! This is just a dream!" She tripped while walking backwards, and scraped her elbow.

"OW!" she yelled, she felt her elbow, which was lightly bleeding. she knew then that it wasn't a dream at all.

she got up, and started walking in the direction that she lot her robot in. it took a while, hours, actually. but, she found it; lodged between two stumps of a gigantic weeping willow tree. it was much taller than any other tree she had ever saw, too.

she plucked the bot from the tree, when, she spotted it, the tin on the robot was stained with a rich red. she saw a path of what looked to be blood, despite all of her instincts telling her no, she followed the trail.

when she got to the end of it, what she saw was someone, freshly killed, lying on the soft grass. their chest and stomach ripped open, their ribs shattered and their large intestine pulled out, half eaten. it was just starting to go trough rigor mortis. she wanted to throw up, but, because of the fresh kill she was seeing, she knew something dangerous was lurking beyond this tree. she booked it out of there, leaving the robot and remote behind. when she tried to find her home, it was no where in sight.

she started to wander, after what seemed to be hours, she started to feel hungry. conveniently, there was a bush of strawberries right in front of her. she walked towards the bushel to grab a few, when, she was suddenly yanked up by a rope trap.

she dangled there, until someone she'd never met before found her.

"hello?"
