You had just got off the phone with your girlfriend...Jennie. She had a performance tonight and you were planning on showing up. The show didn't start until 8 pm, so you just went on with your day as usual, without her. I mean...you were usually apart, because of her constantly packed idol schedule. But you were used to it and you didn't love her any less because of it, even if it meant only spending nights togther, and ruining your sleep schedule.
You checked the clock on your phone, 10:35 A.M. You clicked the off button on your phone again, just wanting to check the time. You walked into your kitchen, in the apartment you shared with Jennie, though she was rarely in it. You looked around, trying to figure something out to eat. Eventually settling for a banana, convincing yourself you'd make an actual meal later. Even though you knew you wouldn't, purely because of your laziness. You ate the slightly too ripe banana while scrolling through your Instagram feed, purposely clicking on Jennie's account, as you hadn't in a while. You just saw the usual, a few selfies here and there, and group pictures of her and her group members. You clicked on one of her posts...

At first you smiled, seeing the picture of your lovely girlfriend. Then you felt a pang of jealousy, should they be that close...You shook your head, trying to convince yourself that they are obviously just friends. But you soon found yourself overanalyzing Lisa's comment.
"I love you too!! 💕"
You teared up a bit, but finally pulled yourself together, getting a bit excited that you'll finally be able to see Jennie. You haven't been able to see her much, since they were preparing for the Kill This Love comeback. You felt your cheeks heat up a bit in excitement, but you ignored it.
A few hours later...
You spent the day binging your favorite shows on netflix, Grey's Anatomy, On My Block (3 times), Friends, etc... even though you knew Jennie would be annoyed you watched friends without her, since it was 'her' thing. You pressed the home button on your phone casually, looking to see the time. 5:48 P.M. You immediately shot up from your spot on the couch, knocking over a bowl of popcorn, well what's left of it, onto the floor. You mentally cursed yourself for being so clumbsy. You bent down, quickly picking up the crumbs and threw them in the trash, then throwing the bowl in the sink, thankful it wasn't glass. You ran to the bathroom to take a shower so you could start getting ready.
