"What?"

"You've finally got adopted!" My mom said enthusiastically.

I was in disbelief, I was shocked, ...but I was also happy. For the first time in years I was happy. Actually happy

"Really? Who are they?"

"The Cullen's."  My dad said.

The Cullen's? I was going to be living with the Cullen's? Don't get me wrong I would absolutely love to live them, but their just so perfect and I'm... Well I'm me.

"So hurry up and get packed Hun."

I ran to my room (Something we weren't allowed to do. But oh well, I'm not living here anymore anyways.) And packed my clothes and anything else that was mine.

"I'm really gonna miss you Abigail" Said Wendy.

Now that I think about it I was really gonna miss her too.

Wendy was my foster parents seven year old daughter.

She was always really nice and wasn't annoying like any other seven year old would be.

"I'll miss you too Wendy" I said as I hugged her.

"Hurry up Abigail!" I heard them both yell from the kitchen.

They must really want me outta here.

Well I wanted to be outta here too.

"Bye Wendy!" I yelled as I ran to the front door.

The ride to the adoption center was silent.

When we got there they took us to this small room.

Inside we're my new parents.

"Hello Abigail. I'm Carlisle Cullen"

"Hi" I said shyly.

"I'm Esme" Said the woman with a big smile on her face.

They both looked very excited, but Esme looked a bit more excited.

And what could I say? She really did look like a mom. Not in a bad way of course.

"Alright Mr. And Mrs. Cullen, just a couple more papers and you'll be set" Said the man behind the desk.

They signed the papers and handed them to him.

"Alright, ready to go."

When we got in the car the first thing Esme asked was, "Are you hungry dear?"

"Nah. I'm still full from the school lunch."

"Are you sure?"

"Yup."

She asked if I wanted to turn on the radio and I said sure. It really didn't matter to me.

We stopped at a big house with tall glass windows.

I knew they were rich, but not this rich.

"This your house?"

"Our house" Said Esme.

"Wow."

Carlisle let out a laugh and opened the door.

I opened mine and ran to the house.

I heard laughing behind me.

Esme open the door and there stood five teens in front of the door.

"Your perfect!" Squealed the small one. She had pixie like hair and was the shortest of them all.

No, you're perfect, I thought as I walked in.

The Bronze hair one looked at me and then spoke. "I'm Edward" He said as he smiled.

"I'm Alice" Said the small one in a bubbley voice.

"Emmett" Said the big buff one. He must really work out a lot, I thought.

Edward laughed.

"Jasper" said the lean blond boy.

"And I'm Rosalie" said the other girl with the long blond hair. She looked like she didn't really want to be here but the others had made her.

Esme and Carisle walked in.

I looked away from the my now sisters and brothers and looked at the house.

It was even better than the outside.

And it was big. I didn't understand why they needed all of this space even though I loved it.

Then I remembered that there was another one sitting at the lunch table with them at school. Where was she?

"That's my girlfriend Bella" Said Edward. "She doesn't live with us."

"Oh."

Wait... How did he know that I was thinking about her?

He gasped like he just realized something.

"What?" I asked. Even though the real question I wanted to ask was how he knew I was thinking about her.

"Nothing" he answered too fast and rushed upstairs.

"C'mon! I'll give you a tour of the house and show you your room!" Yelled Alice as took my hand and pulled me upstairs.

And so she took me on a tour of my new home.
