Let it all out

I woke up in my bed with Jasper sitting on the edge of it watching me sleep.

"Why were you watching me sleep?" I asked in sleepy voice while sitting up.

"... I don't know. I find it fascinating..."

"Well I find it weird and creepy, so could you not?"

He looked taken aback. "Of course."

I sighed. "Sorry. I'm still getting used to the fact that you're a vampire."

He laughed. "I suppose it would take some time to get used to."

"Where are the others?"

"Hunting."

"Hunting? Wait... Are they hunting humans?!"

He laughed at this too. "No. We're vegetarians. That means we only drink the blood of animals."

"Oh... You weren't hungry?"

He shook his head. "I hunted a couple days ago."

"Oh." I sighed and lied back down.

"Jasper I need your help!" Yelled a voice.

"That's Bella" He said standing up. "I'll be right back." He left the room and a few moments later Bella came in.

"Hey..." She said obviously nervous.

"Hey" I said with a smile on my face. "So," I began. "You punched a werewolf in the face?"

"It's a long story" She said shaking her head.

"Well we're not going anywhere anytime soon, and I like long stories so..."

"Well... I guess..."

  And so she told me.

Long story short, this werewolf boy that she knew for a really long time loved her, but she didn't love him back. At least not in the way he did. He kissed her without consent and she punched him in the face.

Seems fair to me. But I really wanted to meet these werewolf guys. They seemed very interesting.

"No" said Edward walking in. "They're to dangerous."

"Would you stop reading my mind?" I asked getting frustrated. It really wasn't nice having someone in your mind all day. "And I can do whatever I want. You're not the boss of me" I sounded like a brat, but it was true. He wasn't the boss of me. "And I thought you were hunting or something, why are you here now?"

"We're done hunting, and you're right, I'm not the boss of you. But I am your big brother and I know what's best for you."

"No. You don't. You're just a control freak. I hear the way you talk to Bella. You talk to her like you know what's best for her. Like you're her dad. Like she's uncapable of doing things herself. And no. You're not my big brother. You're my adopted big brother, and therefore I don't have to listen to you! Any of you! None of you are my real family!" I yelled, tears streaming down my face.

"I don't even know how you deal with him Bella" I said shaking my head. "I know I wouldn't be able to."

I felt a wave of calmness come over me. "No! Jasper please! Just let me be mad. I need to let some steam out. I've been holding it in for too long."
It was true. I haven't really been the healthiest when it comes to mental care. I always just bottle it up, I don't even know why I do it. I just do.

Jasper sat next to me.

I put my head on his shoulder and felt his cool  skin through his shirt.

"Let it all out" he said stroking my hair.

And I did. I cried for hours. And he just sat there holding me, taking in all of my pain, anger, and sadness.
