The air was cold. I felt the sun rays hit my eyes as I slowly opened them. It was 5 a.m in the morning. I always wake up early to make breakfast for my disabled mother. I was bare-footed, so the cold ground sent shivers up my spine as I planted my feet on them. I checked my phone and turned off the alarm,but I was shock of what day it was.
It was the first of December. Winter hasn't begun yet but it was still cold. Today was my first day at I.A.O.S.K. Or the Idol Academy Of Seoul, Korea. For as long as I can remember, I was always trying my best to get into Idol Academy. Ever since my father died when I was 11, it was only me and my poor mother who got injured during the accident that killed my father.
My family wasn't rich, but we weren't poor either. We were decent. My mother was from a rich family. Even though she became rebellious when she turned 18, her father will still support her financially. I try my best to help her out around the house, but she always refuses. It frustrated me a lot, but I would still do has she wished. She's in a wheel chair, but she is too stubborn for her own good.
I went in the restroom and took a quick shower and got changed. I wore a plain white t-shirt with a leather jacket. I had glasses on. The ones that are not for your sight, just for stylish purposes. I also had on black bottoms and a black mask. I guess you can say black was my color.

I went downstairs hoping my mother was still asleep so I could make her breakfast. Unfortunately she wasn't and she greeted me as I came down. "My beautiful boy, good morning honey." She said with the biggest grin ever. "Mom why did you wake up so early in the morning? You know the doctors said that you need to rest in order for you to get better." I told my mother. "Aish, this boy. Stop worrying about me Jungkook-ah. I'm fine aren't I? Now come close, let me see your eye."
I walked towards my mother and leaned down as she checked on my right eye. I wasn't completely untouched during the accident that killed my father. I lost my sight on my right eye. Now I can only see through my left.
"Mom I'm fine. I have taken my medicine and eye drops. I'm fine,honestly." I told my worried mother. "Still, I have to check it everyday. What if you missed something and it can cause your eye to get even worse?" She chuckled and shook her head. "You always have been so confident and brave. Just like your father." I smiled at her. "I know mom. You have told me before, a million time." We both broke into laughter.
After I made us breakfast and cleaned up the table, I was getting ready to head to school. "I'll come straight home after school mom. Are you sure you can handle yourself alone?" "Like I said earlier Jungkook, I am fine ok? Now go to school and make me proud." She told me. I hugged my mother and went out the door.
"JEON JUNGKOOK!!" I turned around to see my friend Jimin who was running towards me waving. "Ah hyung! I didn't know you were going down this street. I thought you always took the shortcut through the park." I told him. "Well since today is your first day attending I.A (Idol Academy), I decided to come walk with you." "Aish you're cringe level is at the max Jimin!" I told him as I punched his arm. "OWWWWW JEON JUNGKOOOK!!" Jimin chased me half the block until we reached a convenient store near the bus stop.
"I'll go in and buy some snacks for lunch. Want anything?" Jimin asked me while looking for his wallet in his backpack and panting after the childish chase we had. "Pockey! And why would you even asked me that question? You know I would never turn down a snack." I told him smirking" "Whatever, fat ass" Jimin said while running into the store laughing. "This hyung man." I said to myself with a chuckle.
I was sitting on the sidewalk step waiting for Jimin. I had headphones on and was listening to music. I gazed up at the sky as it began to snow. I closed my eyes for just a second until I heard a-
Thump
I opened my eyes, startled by the loud noice. I looked beside me at a girl who had tripped on my foot. "Oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't see you pass." I told the girl jumping to my feet and helped her up. "Oh no worries I just didn't see you that's all." She said. "Don't blame yourself, please, it was my fault I had my feet out and I didn't realize someone would trip over them." "No no don't worry about it." She said with giggle. As I helped her pick up her books and stood up, we locked eyes. There I saw a girl who has beautiful shiny eyes , rosie checks from the cold air, and red peachy lips. And at that moment I knew, I saw an angel.
I'm not completely satisfied about this first chapter but it will due :). Hope you enjoyed the music and the chapter!! I will try updating everyday!!!
