Ch 4: The Boys Will Chat

Carly

*The next day*

I wake to the sound of Kadence's favorite song, Candy land by Blood On the Dance Floor, blasting through the house, accompanied by the sound of Kadence and Nathan singing at the top of their lungs. I groan and pull my pillow over my head. "Shut up!" Kaylyn shouts from the bedroom next to mine. Kadence sings louder and is now accompanied by Nathan and Kennedy.

"Can't get ten minutes of sleep in this damn house" I grumble, dragging myself out of bed. I walk into the living room to see Kadence jumping around the living room. " Goooooooooooood mo-orniiiiiiiiiiig-uh!" Kadence sing-songs. "You're awfully awake this morning. I thought you weren't a morning person." I say to her. "I'm not," she replies, "but we're going adventuring today and One Direction isn't touring so we might see them today." she states. "I know Hazza's address." Kaylyn states, walking into the room. "Yay!" I say, clapping. "So first adventuring then stalk Hazza." Kadence says. "Leggo, we need to get dressed and wake up Kendall."

We all run upstairs to get dressed. Kadence went into Kendall's room and got her up. Thirty minutes later... We're all in the living room trying to figure out what to do first.

We decide to go on the London Eye first. We pile into the rental with Nathan driving.

We park our car somewhere and head over to the London Eye. Nathan is typing away on his phone as we get into the carriage thingy. "Whatchoo doin?" Kadence asks Nathan, trying to peek over his shoulder. He readjusts so she can't see his phone. She crosses her arms over her chest and glares at him. The London Eye starts and we're taken up into the air. We get to the top and all five of us girls are pressed against the glass, looking out on London.

*Nathan*

I manage to get a picture of the look on Kadence's face when we get to the top of the eye. I send the picture to Niall with a message of look what you're missing.

* 6:00 P.M.*

Carly

"My god Kadence. Did you really need all of this stuff?" Nathan asks as he hauls in all of her bags. "Yes," she replies, not taking her eyes off her phone. "Who you texting Kade?" I ask her. " She's texting J.C." Kennedy says with a grin. "She's been texting him all day" Kennedy tells us as she sits on the couch. "Oh? Sounds like things are getting serious." I say.

"Kade's got a boyfriend!" Kaylyn teases her. "You guys! I do not-" "Yes you do!" I cut her off. "No. I don't. We're just friends." "Friends that wanna suck face." Kennedy says, laughing. Kendall starts making kissy noises.

"Oh my god. You're all idiots" Kadence laments. "You love us" Kaylyn says. "Whatever." "Really though," I say, "what's going on between you two?" "I don't know," she sighs, "I mean I like him and all." "But you like Niall," Kennedy concludes. Kadence sighs, "Why do I have to like him so much?"

"I know what will make you feel better." Kendall says. "What?" she asks. "Supernatural marathon." "Yes!" Just then Nathan comes into the room. "I'm gonna go out with some lads for a few. I'll be back before midnight." "Okay" Kadence says as he walks out the front door. We order Chinese God and get our jammies on. "Has it ever occurred to you guys we end almost every day with movies or T.V.?" I ask. "It won't be that way for long. Once the competition starts we'll be busy,busy, busy." Kadence says. "True." "Now shut up it's starting." Kendall says.

Nathan

I get to Harry's house and find Niall in the living room, stalking Kadence's Instagram. I give him a look and he just flips me off. Harry and the other guys come in, and Harry's holding an ice pack to his junk. "What happened?"

"I said I think Kade looks hot and Niall punches me in the balls." Harry explains."Well, the girls think you're pretty hot stuff, too," I inform him. "WHAT?!" Niall screeches. "The girls had a forty-five minute conversation about Harry Styles and his sexy ponytail." "You can't fight the truth," he remarks smugly. "Whatever you say," I retorted.

"So..." Niall commented hopefully. "Well from what I heard today was that they may or may not be dating" "That really cleared things up," Louis remarked sarcastically."I heard two .different things." "What did Kadence say?" Niall inquired. "She says they're not dating, and so does Kaylyn." "So it sounds like they're not dating." Liam remarks."Or maybe they are and they don't want anyone to know" Zayn states. "That would most likely be the maybe not Nathan mentioned earlier" Harry comments. "Ugh" Niall groans.

"Finish the story," Liam remarks. "I'm getting there." I state, "So, anyways, we were in Jack Wills and Kade was in the dressing room and Kendall and Carly told me that they were dating, but he didn't want his fans to send her hate mail and whatnot, so they're keeping it on the down low."

"This is so confusing" Niall stated. "Because girls are NEVER confusing," Harry remarked sarcastically. Niall just grunts. "You know, you could always talk to her. That might work"Louis retorts."Have you been smoking crack again?" Niall shoots back. "God, you don't have to bite my head off" "Well, while it's been a good chat, I have to go visit my mum before I head back to the house. If you lads want to hang out tomorrow, the house will be empty, 'cause the girls have some interview or some thing, so just text me." I head out of their flat, dismissed by a chorus of 'bye's.
