"We are here today to show our love and support for Peter Parker's very precious family. Not only have we sensed our own personal feelings of loss over Peter Parker's passing, but our hearts have been drawn toward them, and will continue to be with them." The Minster finished his service. "Peter's Aunt, May, would like to say a few words."

"Thank you." Aunt May, past the Minister as she took to the Microphone. "My Nephew Peter... was just a simple boy, he wanted nothing more then to graduate High School, go to college, meet someone special and have a family... but in secret, without anyone noticing, he protected us, he protected all of us, as the friendly neighborhood Spider-man." She wiped away her tears before continuing. "As Spider-Man, Peter touched each and everyone of us, he inspired us, motivated us, but most importantly he taught us that no matter who you are, no matter how small you feel, you can be a hero. I want everyone to leave here with the same message, that Peter's uncle gave him: With Great Power, come Great Responsibility."

I wipe the tear away from my eyes, and make my way through the sea of people, paying their respects to Peter.

"(Y/n), where are you going?" I hear a saddened voice call out.

"Mary Jane..." I feel her cold hand, grab my arm, and I stare up at the sky as snow rains down on everyone. "I'm sorry..."

"Where are you going?" She asks.

"I-I can't be here."

"He was your best friend, why can't you be here?"

"I... don't deserve to be here..."

I feel her hug me from behind. "You two were basically brothers, W-why don't you deserve to be here?"

"..."

"(Y/n), please answer me."

"Peter was a hero, he was Spider-Man, and he's gone now... because of me..." she squeezes me even tighter.

"You blamed yourself for Gwen's death, I won't let you blame yourself for Peter's as well." As she finished her sentence, pain, and guilt overcame me, and I collapse to my knees. "(Y/n)..." She kneels down in front of me, and I feel her wipe the tears off my face. She wraps her arms around me again, this time resting her head on my shoulder, her tears soaking my jacket. "This one's on me... I shouldn't have let him leave the talent show..."

"Don't... Don't blame yoursel..." Mary Jane lifts her head, and looks me directly in my eyes.

"Then you better not either."
