author's note: i gotta say i feel all over the place with this story. i get the sinking feeling that aizen may not continue to be the main ship. who am i starting to lean towards? neliel of course. she is literally my favorite female character in the show. in either case, i feel as if i start writing more of this story, the true ship will reveal their self. of course, i still have to work on it to ever find out lol.

i kept telling myself i wouldnt text and drive simultaneously but here i am. i have to admit, i have to be one of the lucky ones to not have crashed and died because of it because lord knows there have been numerous times where i wasnt paying attention to the road. i still manage to keep it to a minimum when other people are in the car but its still a problem.

in either case, i found myself chatting up a storm with my newest employee, orihime. it took a bit of time to get her to come out of that shell but once she did, look out. i could tell she was one of the silent watcher types, like an owl. she had alot of stories where she was just sipping coffee or reading at a table but could hear a conversation from a few tables away about something or another. "i honestly cant tell you how many times ive heard the line 'go ahead and tell me. i wont tell no one', becky and let me tell you this: dont believe anyone when they say it to you," she laughed. i sucked my teeth. "you telling me, girl. ive always kept a tight lid on anything i wouldnt want spread around about me," i said.

in truth, i dont have many secrets. i have only one major one: i work weekends at a strip club. i dont think it would have any adverse impacts on my job but i have a lot of male employees that im pretty sure like me. i get the feeling i would get alot of stalkers if news ever got out.

her eyes brightened before an eyebrow raised. "hmm...." she hinted. i chuckled. "no, orihime. im not telling you secrets," i said. she pouted. "but you can clearly tell that im trustworthy," she said. "mmm hmm and how many of other people's secrets did you just get done telling me?" i asked, a brow raised. she chuckled. "tou che," she replied.

i wont deny that i left ichigo on 'read' for a while. if for no other reason than the fact that i couldnt think of what to say next to him. in truth, i had no real intentions of seeing him again. that was just a quick fix. however, i felt like i could find value in him somewhere. even if by some stretch of the imagination. of course, i knew that the course of the conversation would be determined by what i chose to respond with. when i reached a red light, i sent him a message.

me: im busy

i realized that i needed a little more time to figure out where i wanted to go with him. i figured id stall. the response back was almost immediate.

ichigo: doin' what?

before i could really think of what to say back, the light turned green and i was heading towards orihime's place.

she lived in an apartment building just a short walk from the club i strip at. ill have to be careful not to run into her. we said our good byes until tomorrow and she headed inside. i started the drive home. i sent him another message while waiting at a stop sign.

me: whats it to you?

ichigo: im curious

i gotta admit, the short responses that match my own seem a little too advanced for my impression of him. its likely someone is helping him. i guess i could play along. maybe even call him on his shit.

me: you know what they say about curiosity

ichigo; yea i do

me: it might be something you dont want to know
