Chapter 4

*3rd Person POV*

"Do I really have to go?"

"Of course Y/N,it's Like a trip! Why would you wanna skip this opportunity?"

"Uhm...I might get lost?"

"I'll hold your hand the entire way then!"

"Okay..."

The Students were tasked to get some sap at the Forever Fall forest,Y/N was prepared to fail since he didn't wanna go.

As a child,he had already gotten lost in the forest to which N/N has to bail him out of when Y/N passed out from crying and walking around,it gave him trauma.

He really really didn't wanna go,but since Yang's asking nicely,and Ruby offered cookies earlier,then maybe he could give it another try..

"Sweet! Better get ready then!"
Yang did a fist pump,Y/N was already in his school uniform,he was just sitting on Ruby's bed doing nothing.

Weiss was already out and Blake's nowhere to be see,Ruby's at Team JNPR's Room having a chat about their problems with Jaune hanging out with the Bully Cardin Winchester.

Y/N didn't wanna leave the room without Yang,so he just listened to more of Summer's recordings in the scroll as a way for him to ease his nervousness of going back to Forever Fall forest.

He leaned back against the wall and closed his eyes,he remembered the time he and Summer spent the day together,strolling around the city,trying out food stalls,her jumping around at the sight of sweets...it was a memory he cherishes...

But that was also the same day she was ultimately taken from him...

Whenever he thought about it,he felt a little...odd,like some sort of switch has been flipped. He can't really explain how it feels,but he can describe it with one word...

He preferred to not think about it,instead he forced himself to believe that she was still alive and is somewhere around Remnant,she just wants to play a game of hide and seek...

"Alright! I'm finished! Ready to go Y/N?" Yang suddenly patted the boy's shoulder,jolting him awake.

He felt the taste of blood after pursing his lips because of the sudden jolt...he really has to stop this from happening..

"A-Ah,yes...thank you for accompanying me..."

"Hahahaha,No need for thanks! If anything,You're the one accompanying me!"

Y/N just gave a small smile...yeah a smile that can purge a Grimm...probably.

Took Yang alot of willpower to not pull him into a bonecrushing hug since it'll scare him if she does so.

*Forever Fall forest*

"The sap taste sweet...but as long as no one throws bees,wasps,and hornets into the mix,it'll be safe...I think..."
Y/N went on to collect his own sap as Yang waited just beside him.

"Pssh,I'm sure no one's idiotic enough to Do that,besides,I bet they're not even brave enough to capture a box of bees,let alone hornets and wasps..."
Yang patted the boy's back "So don't worry too much,mm'kay?"

"Alright..."

The boy's having a good time so far,he and Yang separated from the rest of the team and collected their sap from a different area.
