I was flying over the infinite sky, feeling the wind in my face. I could hear a beautiful tune in the distance. A voice was calling me " Liana..come to me...Come..."

"Beep beep". I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I hurried to the bathroom. Don't want to be late for the first day of high school. As I brushed my teeth I thought about my dream.

I've been having the same dream for months now but I never get tired of it. The voice felt familiar like it was a link to my past.

I wore a purple top with a white jacket and jeans. I combed my raven black hair and looked into the mirror. My bluish grey eyes gave me hope.
Today is going to be a great day.

I rushed down the stairs and entered the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I toasted a slice of bread and filled a glass with some juice.

"Liana! I am running late. Where's my breakfast?"yelled my cousin Tanya.
"Go make it yourself !" I yelled back.

I live with my step-aunt and cousins. They are nothing but mean to me.
I'm an orphan and know very little about my parents.

As I ate my toast, my step-aunt Ursula came in, wearing too much make up as usual. "Trevor, get down here!"she called out.

Tanya sat across me and said " You and my stupid brother better not mess things up for me today. "

Oh please! She ruins everything herself and blames it on me."Tanya darling, I will be dropping you and your brother off at school and as for you, just take the bus."said aunt Ursula as she gulped down a huge cup of coffee.

I finished my food, grabbed my bag and left the house without another word.
I walked to the bus stop, on the way I felt the urge to stop and stare at the huge abandoned grey mansion.

Some say it's haunted, but I don't really care. If it's owner thought about restoring it, it would look splendid.
I ran to the bus stop and boarded the bus on time. I found an empty seat, put my headphones on and relaxed.
