SkyWorld and the shattered stone

Chapter two - the Zillamon

They walked out of the dining hall. SkySapphire was met with a vibrant sky blue wall. SkySapphire could vaguely see a few clouds. But she still had to look hard to notice but she grew up seeing this wall every day so bot she and SkyDiamonds didn't really need to look to find them. She quietly laughed to herself.

Then they started to walk down the corridor. There were a few guards lined up down the hall. Carrying either swords or bow and arrows. SkySapphire always hated how defensive the SkyWorld so always became nervous when they were around. SkyDiamonds knew this. That's why when they were kids they would always be outside. He walked over to her. He patted her back. SkySapphire looked at him before she grinned at him.

Then they turned down another hallway. With the guards glancing at them as they passed. SkySapphire wished that she was anywhere but there. She winced as SkySapphire realised that there were more guards appearing. SkySapphire looked at her brother who smiled at her. She nodded. Then they turned down another corridor which as SkySapphire could see had a staircase at the end.
SkySapphire walked towards the stairs. SkyRedstone was leading the way. Then he reached the stairs he looked down a long, circler, windy staircase. Which SkySapphire, unfortunately, knew to lead to the Zillamon. "Well, either I or SkyDiamonds has to go down with you guys to the Zillamon," SkySapphire stated flatly looking down the staircase uncomfortably. As SkyDiamonds slowly started walking down the staircase. "Well seeing as you being stubborn and 'you're not going near the Zillamon' it seems that SkyDiamonds is gonna have to take us," SkyRedstone said calmly. SkySapphire could feel her face go red a little.

When they finally reached the iron doors that lead to the Zillamon SkySapphire looked at SkyDiamonds nodded at her. She rolled her eyes. Then she took off her sapphire necklace. She held it firmly in her hands. SkySapphire then put her index finger on the silver sword that was on her necklace. The sapphire, not the sword started to glow. SkySapphire looked up and down the door. Finally, she found what she was looking for. Then put her necklace in the door. It was in the door for five minutes before they heard a small unlocking noise immediate from the door. SkySapphire took her necklace out. Then opened the door.

SkyPlainite's jaw dropped. At how the door had to be opened. SkyDiamonds noticed he laughed. "And it has to be opened by Royalty!" SkyDiamonds exclaimed. SkyPlainite looked a bit confused when she looked at SkySapphire. "But your not royalty by birth! Your royal because you got adopted by the royals!" She stated. SkySapphire smiled. "We're curious" SkySapphire and SkyDiamonds said in unison. "You know how I'm royal through my mother?-" SkyDiamonds asked as SkyPlainite nodded. "-Well SkySapphire's mum is my mother's sister" SkyDiamonds explained. Then she understood and nodded.

SkySapphire was starting to get impatient so she walked behind SkyDiamonds. Then she started to push him through the door. "Okay, okay! We'll go! SkySapphire!" SkyDiamonds exclaimed as SkySapphire harshly pushed him through the door. She smirked then walked over to the door frame. She leaned against it. As SkyDiamonds glared at her. She grinned. SkyDiamonds slowly walked over to SkyPlainite. With SkySapphire watching him darkly. Then SkySapphire started to tap her foot against the ground. In a steady beat, SkySapphire closed her eyes. Then SkyRedstone noticed a soft humming coming from SkySapphire. He couldn't tell what song it was. She was humming it that softly, but from what he could hear she knew it really well. SkySapphire opened her eyes to see that SkyDiamonds and SkyPlainite were talking and SkyRedstone was looking at her. She smiled at him in a way that said I wasn't supposed to do that. He nodded. SkySapphire rolled her eyes.

SkyDiamonds looked at the pair. He walked over to the door. Then with a smile walked through the door to the Zillamon. He was met with a blinding light. I forgot about that light. He thought as he closed his eyes. When he had an idea that the light was gone he opened his eyes. To get a better look at the room to were the Zillamon is. It was in a room with a glowing gem in the centre. The gem was on a small but sturdy table. The table was painted white. He looked at the walls they were a pale green that faded into sky blue. The actual Zillamon had every single gem colour swirling on the inside.

He smiled as he remembered what had happened last time he was in here. The reason why SkySapphire didn't want to come anywhere near the Zillamon. "Woah..." SkyPlainite muttered from behind him making SkyDiamonds jump. SkyRedstone laughed. "You haven't seen anything!" SkyDiamonds muttered in a small voice. "During the Gemma Lumina, it's the most beautiful thing there is. You can't completely forget everything that's happening around you and just feel at peace. While it's happening" SkyDiamonds smiled as he heard the iron door close.
SkyRedstone was in chanced by the Zillamon. He made his way towards the Zillamon. SkyRedstone put out his hand to touch it. "Don't touch the Zillamon" SkyDiamonds harshly said. Snapping out of it. He wiped around to look at SkyDiamonds. "How do we enchant our gems to allow us to breathe in space?" SkyPlainite asked SkyDiamonds. He smiled "can I have your ring, SkyRedstone, and SkyPlainite can I have I need your necklace." SkyDiamonds said in reply. SkyPlainite's hand grabbed her necklace. By her face, it was something she did subconsciously. He nodded at her. She rolled her eyes as she took off her necklace. She handed it to SkyDiamonds with her eyes closed. He rolled his eyes. SkyRedstone thrust his own ring in SkyDiamonds hands. Then SkyDiamonds took off his own ring.

SkyDiamonds held his ring firmly in his hand. He showed the Zillamon the diamond side of his ring. As if showing a four-year-old something that was boring. A beam of light beamed around them. Then it fell on the diamond ring. His diamond ring exploded with light. SkyDiamonds shielded his eyes. Everyone but SkyDiamonds gasped.

He was slightly lifted off the ground for a split second. "Now I'll be able to breathe in space," SkyDiamonds said. The Zillamon glowed more brightly. As the line in between it and SkyDiamonds ring more bright and vibrant. The colour of the diamond darkened a little. Before the light in between the Zillamon and SkyDiamonds ring disappeared. SkyDiamonds shook his ring in his hands. As he brought it up to his face. SkyDiamonds nodded. Before putting his ring on.
SkyPlainite smiled at him. SkyRedstone nodded. Then SkyDiamonds did the same for both SkyPlainite's necklace and then SkyRedstone's ring. When they finished getting their gems enchanted they came out. To see SkySapphire humming again. She stopped when she saw them coming out. SkySapphire was a bit red.

"Are any of us four years old yet?" SkyDiamonds asked SkySapphire. She became the same colour as he hair. "Hey!" She yelled at him. Making a few guards jump. SkyDiamonds laughed, SkyRedstone coughed to hide his laughter. SkyPlainite giggled. "It's not funny!" SkySapphire muttered. Before glaring at SkyDiamonds.
