Survive the Night

Chapter 1(The First Day of School)

Welcome to my first day of school. I just got here barely on time. But that is what I get for nit leaving the house sooner. I had to run through the woods using the trails my dad made for me so I would stay safe. But now that I am here I need to get too my first class. "Where did I put that paper with my classes?" Said Katherine looking frantically as she walked into the school. She found her paper she needed and went to her first class. She finally found her first class, but she missed half of the class. Lucky for her the teacher was not starting class. Instead the teacher had everyone introducing themselves in order by where they sit. And her seat was the last one in the back next to her best friend Jane. They we're happy to be sitting next to each other. And as time passed they had fun getting to know the people in the class. But then she realized that she did not know what class she was in. So she looked at her paper that had her classes on and could not believe what she was seeing. None of her classes we're listed by name all that was on the paper was the teachers name and room number. She asked one of the older students in the class and he looked at her like she was crazy. But he then responded to her question with a look of pure amusement. "You must have not been informed of this, but they do not tell you what the class is to make sure we come to school.". said Student A.  Then the student standing next to her started to speak. "That and it is so we can have fun on the first day. The teacher of the class is the one that tells us what class we are in. But that doesn't mean they will tell us today. They can tell us when they want too and that is all we know." said Student B. They both then walked away from her in a fit of laughter.
