Louis was in love. He's known that since 8th grade. No less with someone, he's known all his life but couldn't consider himself a friend. Louis always kept to himself, he wasn't quiet but he wasn't loud either. He liked hanging out with his friends. They were funny, but there were a few things they didn't know about him. Like his massive crush on the popular soccer player, Harry Styles. Harry was what people would call the Golden Boy. He was handsome, had good grades, was a great athlete, and he was a very nice person.

He was an actual cliche, it hurt Louis' brain for liking him. But he did. In 8th grade, they were partnered with each other for a project, so they were over each other's house almost every day of the week for 2 weeks to complete their assignment. That's when Louis realized he was falling for the Golden Boy of the town of Redridge.

Louis loved drawing ever since he was a child. When he realized the massive crush he had on the boy, he started to draw comics and fantasized of what could happen. Of course, he never had the courage to go up to him and talk to him. Even if they spent two weeks together doing a project. But now, Louis was a senior. He managed to go all of high school without telling anyone about his crush on Harry.

He walked across the hall, his backpack was over his shoulder and his sketchbook was suffocated in between his fingers.
"Louis!" He heard a deep voice call after him. He turned around and smiled when seeing his best friend, Liam.

"Oh, Hey Liam." Louis says.

"Are you excited for homecoming?" Liam asked gripping his backpack.

"Sure? I don't know Lee, you know I don't do public events." Louis shrugs, walking towards his English class.

"Oh come on, at least tell me you're going to the dance!"
"I don't know how to dance."

"Who cares! Nobody dances, they just jump around in the sound of the music." Liam explained. Louis rolled his eyes and sighed.

"I'll think about it."

"Well, you better think fast because I already have a date."

"What? Who?" Louis turned to look at Liam.

"Genavah."

"The Ethiopian girl in my art class?"

Liam nodded confirming. Louis smiled. "That's awesome man, she's really pretty."

"She's beautiful don't you think?"

Louis agreed with him. Gen was really pretty, but she never really talked. Louis has seen a few people make fun of her deep accent. But Gen just ignores them and does her own thing.

They entered the classroom, and Louis stopped in his tracks when seeing Harry stapling some papers. Harry glances at him and flashes a smile. Louis walks away without, a single expression on his face. He hated feeling this way whenever he saw him, he just felt like he was melting inside. Louis sat at his desk, which was in the far back. He looked over to Liam who was chatting with his other friends. Liam had always been a social butterfly. He's the reason Louis had friends. Louis was mostly social if he already knew the person. So it was hard for him to get friends on his own. He opened up his sketchbook and started to draw an unfinished comic strip. Louis drew the outline of himself sitting down on a bench all alone. He always started with outlining the whole picture and then filling in the details later.

He felt a presence sit next to him which made him shut the book and look up. His heart almost stops at the sight of the angel sitting next to him. Harry sat there fiddling with his fingers, he turns his head and gives Louis a nod. Louis raised an eyebrow then looked over to Liam who was sitting with Jake.
"Uhm," Louis started.

"Ms. Spang changed the seating for a few of the students. I'm one of them." Harry said. Louis looked around and realized that there were some students who sat in different places from where they sat before. Louis' heart felt like it was on fire. He felt as if Harry's skin was poisonous and if he were to come in contact with it he would die.

Louis knew he was being dramatic. But this was his long term crush, the beautiful curly haired boy with green eyes and pink plumped lips. And that same boy was sitting next to him in class.

"So today we're going to get out of Literature and get more into Creative Writing. Now, you guys know I absolutely love Halloween. So, since we are entering October I'm going to assign you a project that you will work on with partners. And by partners I mean the classmates you are sitting next to."

Louis felt like his heart was going to explode. He looked down at his desk, and bounced his leg. Mrs. Spang walked around giving each couple a sheet of paper. Harry stook his hand out to receive one. He placed on top of the crack between his desk and Louis'.

"Both of you will create a small halloween related story, I want a minimum of 10 pages. Both should create a plot, ideas. Brainstorm with each other. I would like to see a few drawings maybe. Pretend that you are an author. What to do your fans want to read?"

Louis stayed quiet and stared at his teacher. He really just wanted to slam a desk on her ditzy self.

"How do we always managed to have a big project together?" Harry's deep voice rung in Louis' ears. Louis looked over to him and watched him chuckle. He has such a nice laugh, smooth and sexy.

Louis played it off and shrugged. He gave him a half smile then turned his head and rolled his eyes at himself. Why couldn't he just be confident? Like other people that had crushes.

"Alright so talk to your partners, think about what topic you want to try out and start brainstorming." She chirped, then proceeded to walk back to her desk.

Harry read over the rubric that Mrs. Spang gave them. He then took out his notebook and looked at Louis.

"Alright well, what do you think we should write about?" Harry asked, tapping his pen on the notebook.

"Uhm, well.... I'm not that good at writing so... but I can help with ideas." Louis suggested.

"Why don't we do comics? I like your comics." Harry responded. Louis' eyes widen, he felt like his heart was going to come out of his ass.

"W-what?" He said barely being able to choke that out.

"The comics in the school newspaper. They're funny. I read them every morning. It says Louis Tomlinson at the end. That is you right?" Harry tilted his head. His eyes were like green grass on a beautiful spring day.

"Oh, yeah that's me." Louis says smiling. He notices his comics? Harry Styles knows who he is? Louis' mind was jumbled up, he didn't realize he rose his hand until Mrs. Spang walked over to them.

"Yes Louis?"

"Uhm... is it okay if we do a comic?" Louis asked. The teacher smiled excitedly and nodded her head. She turned around to answer a few more questions.

"I'll take care of dialogue, and you can do the comics." Harry suggested. Louis nodded his head, listening to that smooth voice. "So did you have some ideas maybe?"

"That depends what type of halloween story do we want? Horror, thriller, jump scare, or just trick or treating stories?" Louis shrugged.

"Hm, we could probably do horror. Should we base it on a movie? Or books?"

"Well if we base it on books we'd have to research, Stephen King, E. A. Poe, H. P. Lovecraft, Shirley Jackson."

Harry smirked at Louis, amused at his knowledge of authors. Louis noticed this and shrunk in his seat.

"I'm assuming you read a lot?"

"I might not be good at the writing stuff but I love stories." Louis shrugged. Harry nodded and took out his laptop. That was another thing, Harry was rich. His father was the mayor of Redridge, and his mother owned a clothing line. So, of course, he had a really fancy looking laptop. Louis had one too, but it wasn't as nice looking as Harry's.

The rest of the period they researched scary stories and looked for what they could write about. After the bell rang, Louis grabbed his things and rushed to his next class which was Art.
