Jonah's POV

I've been friends with Y/n for a long time. She doesn't realize that I like her though.

She's dating this guy, who's an asshole, may I add. He's cheated on her multiple times, but she always goes back to him.

"Hi, Jonah!" Smiles Y/n, she walks out of her house, we start walking to school together.

It's hard to act like I don't think about her sometimes. It's so stupid, I should win an Oscar.

"Jonah?" Asks Y/n, her hand waving in front of my face. "Helooo."

"What?" I say.

Y/n giggles, and shakes her head.

*end of school*

"Jonah! He cheated on me again!" Y/n cries, running out of the school to me, in tears.

I give her a hug. It's at times like these, when I wonder things that I always regret later.

I know I said I'd be her friend, but's it to hard. It's just to hard.

I promised her I'd be there to the end, but it's to hard. It's just to hard.

She keeps on running back to him, I understand that's it's hard.

I said I'd be her friend...but it's to hard...

"I'm blocking his number." She says, quietly.

We walk back home silently. I drop her off than get back home.

After dinner, I get a call.

It's from Y/n.

"Jo, can I come over...?"

"Sure."

Thanks."

Because she won't call her boyfriend, she'll call me instead.

When Y/n comes, she's in tears again, I hug her, and we fall asleep in my bed.

I'm the morning, I shift away from her. I get up, and get changed.

When I walk back into my room, Y/n is awake.

"Your clothes are in my closet." I say.

Y/n nods, and walks to my closet. She comes over so often she has clothes here.

When she's done, she says

"Jonah, I miss him. I miss him so much!" She sobs.

I hug her, and we walk to school. The bell rings, and we walk separate ways.

When I see her again, she's with her boyfriend again.

She always go crawling back! But I guess it's my mission, to be there when she's sad.

I know I said I'll be her friend, but it's to hard. It's just to hard.

I promised that I'll be there to the end, but it's just to hard. It's just to hard.

She keeps on running back to him, I understand that's it's to hard. It's just to hard.

I know I said I'll be her friend, but it's to hard. It's just to hard.
