Percy's pov

My short term retirement expired at age 18.

Now I know for a fact that the fates have to be messing with me; because if they weren't there was no reason for just why my life was so screwed up.

My girlfriend Annabeth, our best friend Grover, and I were sitting by the campfire with the rest of our friends and camp. Abruptly Rachel, the camps Oracle, collapsed in the middle of my favorite camp song. The camp went silent.

I hastily crossed every one of my fingers and walked over to help her up. I was silently praying, 'don't let it be me, don't let it be me.' She began spitting out a prophecy and someone started jotting it down.

"The seven shall rise again, to fight foe with friend.

The help of three legacies they will need, with a satyr who's done great deeds.

Three hunters shall aid the fight; one living, one dead, and one who only hunts in the darkest of nights.

A boy living out of time, and a mortal girl who was taken for a false crime makes 16, the biggest quest you've ever seen.

They will split up, going North, South, East, and West.

Though she may seem deranged, and a little bit strange, she was proven not Insane.

The savior will lead again, and face of with the end.

The chaos, as you could say, will end or flourish on the 39th day. Four, fours go four ways.

A brother's helpful ride will make great strides, A sister on their trail to stop a foolish deal.

The original three with the thrice proven sane will go north and find a flower in the Alice May never seen to create something for a reign.

The two hunters with the legacy with Cheeto spray paint and the legacy that all hunters hate, will go east, to steel a key of the last, and one may die after that.

The boy and two girls out of time; siblings with a purple legacy will succeed in the south, they will find the golden lake that turns people to greed found in the cave's mouth.

The fire, the storm, and the silver-tongued girl with the boy with a life that depends on a stick will go to the west to the diamond of Nyx.

When The items they combine, with the Wise one's design, a magical bond can not resign and defeat the End, peace they mend."

Rachel woke up and mumbled, "So...what did I say?"

"Something I preferred you hadn't," I told her and motioned to Malcolm for the notepad he had written the prophecy down on. I gave her a hand up and she read the prophecy.

She gave Annabeth, Grover and I a look of immense sympathy, "Sorry I cut all three of your retirements so short," she apologized.

Jason said, "what about us? You cut ours short too."

I pointed at him, my finger in his face, "don't you even dare, Jason!" I said affronted, he backed from the finger a quarter inch in front of his face, "I have been waiting for retirement since the first time we," I pointed to Annabeth, Grover and myself, "stopped World War III on our first quest, don't even. I was hoping to come home, from a long time spent in the worst part of hell—that not even the fates themselves want to go near—and relax, so just try me, bro, try me!"
