Last night was a daze, still couldn't believe I met Zane Rivers. With that gorgeous face. NO! HE ISN'T YOURS TO CALL GORGEOUS, my subconscious yelled at me. I really hope I don't have to see him again. It was 9 am before I decided to even get out of my bed. Its my birthday after all, I don't think my parents would mind. I slowly got out of bed, not willingly welcoming the harsh cold tiles that collided with the bottom of my feet and there it was. A small box sat on my desk waiting for me to unwrap it. I gingerly strolled over to where the perfectly wrapped box was sitting on top of my school books on my overcrowded desk. As I held the box in my hands I carefully analysed it, trying to figure out what it could be. Maybe another piece of jewellery I suppose? It wasn't long before I gave up trying to solve what I've made a puzzle and decided to finally open it. Inside sat a key, Volkswagen car key. Then I thought, who's playing this sick joke on me? This can't be real! I ran downstairs almost twisting my ankle to find my father awaiting me with the biggest grin on his face.
"Is this a joke?"
"Well if you find it funny, we'll laugh about it if you want"
"Dad, now's not the time for smart comments! Yes and No answers only!" I screamed, trying to contain my building excitement.
"Is this mine? Is this real?" I asked grasping tight of the car keys in my hands.
"Yes and yes" He answered with the most flattest facial expression I've ever seen him wear.
No.Freaking.Way.
I ran out to the driveway just to see my dream car, Volkswagen Scirocco beaming back at me. It was all snow white on the outside and had red leather seats on the inside. The most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on. I couldn't contain my excitement. I found myself jumping in kangaroo style around the car until I got back to where my dad was standing watching his daughter act crazy. I launched myself at him, engulfing him in the tightest hug I've ever given to anyone.
"Thank you Dad. I love it and I love you. Thank you so much" I whispered as if it was a secret between us. But it wasn't, I'm so lucky to have him.

After another day of festivities, I was exhausted. It was only 5 in the evening so I still had more hours left in the day, I mean it is my birthday today after all. I plopped myself in my favourite spot in my room, my bean bag. As I scrolled through all my birthday messages I stumbled upon a message from my dear friend Sabrina.
Hey Jordin! Happy Official Birthday to you!
You are a gem and I'm so happy to call you my friend.
And what better way to celebrate you than
to invite you to dinner with me.
Please say yes! I'll be waiting on your response
and don't you dear think about declining this invite!
Dead or alive you're coming! Love Sab, xo.
She knows me so well. She knows I'd try anything to get out of leaving my house but that was when I had to depend on my sister to get around but now I have my own Jor-mobile and I'm dying to drive it.
"Jor-mobile" I whispered my tentative car name out loud and cringed. Okay so maybe that's not the one. I replied to Sab smiling to myself.
Thanks girly! :P
