4.50a.m. mother was waking me up for Sahur. As again, she was literally shouting at me. I was really angry but I had to bare with it. I got up and went to eat.
The floor was cold since it was raining too. Furthermore, I was half awake. After eating, I quickly changed and prayed, and went to school.
When I was at school, I saw my neighbor or friend, Jung Jinyoung. I would probably say he's the smartest in my class. Well, we were in the 3rd smartest class and I'm not that smart. I was just a 13 year old who did not know much too.
After school.
" Ya, Jannah-shi, what's the homework for today? " he asked me while flipping through his textbook.
" Uh, English composition and Math 19.2, " I answered him.
" Oh, thanks, " he thanked me while smiling.
I almost jumped because he looked super cute when he was doing that. I know, I could have breaked my fast but I controlled myself too. Also, everyone went back home to have a good rest since the next day was the start of our Mid-Year examinations. We had to get ready for it so that we can be student councillors if we want to.
When I was at home, my Mother asked me to go downstairs to buy drinks. I was like 'Mum, you- ' , I was super triggered but I calmed down anyway. When I was downstairs, I saw Jinyoung walking towards the shop. My eyes widened. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt. I quickly looked down and walked straight. Ya Allah, I feel so attacked for some reason.
" Uh, Jannah-shi. What are you doing? " He asked me with his eyebrows furrowed.
" Oh, I was-, " I stammered without looking at him.
I was just too nervous and it is really weird for me because I was fasting. I was really scared I would break my fast. While I was answering him, I looked at him, he was staring at me. I gasped. I could not do anything but to say goodbye and walk away.
I just did not think twice because I would have been stucked there too!
For Muslims, we have to lower down our gaze eventhough that person is hot etc. But if he/she is your brother / someone related to you then it is ok. But sometimes we just forget too.
You know the drill ~ hope you liked this new story I made :D
