The next day, once you have left school, you instantly went to your work and rushed to the room of your boss, talking about what had happened last night. It was still fresh in your mind, but you weren't horrified anymore. She was deeply worried for you, and whacked you with millions of apologies for not being there to help you.
"Honey, there's a man who almost harassed you and I wasn't even there for you! I'm just glad that someone saved you from that scum!" Your manager took both of your hands and continued. She smiled weirdly at you and shut her left eye playfully. "Was he good looking?"
"Manager!" You couldn't control your hormones as your blood made it's way to your cheekbones, making you rosy in front of her.
You covered your face from her, and this made her giggle at your silliness.
"I mean... if he tried to save a beautiful girl like you, he must've been handsome."
You raised your eyebrow at her statement and put your arms on your chest, looking a bit defensive. "So you're telling me that he won't save me if I was ugly?"
"I was just joking, Y/N. Trying to make the mood better, you know! After what happened to you... you need to rest! Are you honestly fine now? Do you want to take a break from what happened? Do you want to stop your job here? I can't make you change shifts because you have school in the morning so I don't know what to do. It's fine with me if you're quitting as long as you're—"
You sighed heavily and laughed a little. "You're saying too much, Manager."
The thought that she's blabbering a lot of stuff was quite annoying, but you were admittedly fortunate to have someone like her. Not all bosses have a considerate heart.
"So you're not leaving?"
"No, of course not! It's just a one time thing that probably won't happen again and I still want to help my family after what happened."
"That's nice to hear," She replied wholeheartedly, her machine gun mood finally coming to an end. "But you never answered my question."
"What question?"
"Was he good looking?"
"Manager!"
