Untitled Chapter

Y/n woke up in a strange place. She began to turn around but couldn't. Something was holding her in back. The short girl touched the thing that was wrapped around her waist. It was arms. She unwrapped herself and turned to look at the person next to her, it was Sting. Her movements woke him up. He opened his eyes, blinking a few times and stared at her. He looked around to see what is happening. She decided to question him, "What am I doing here? Inside this tent?"

Sting rubbed his eyes and spoke to her in a tiring voice, "I -um.. brought you in since it was pouring last night and you were soaking wet and got the fever. How are you feeling?"

"Perfectly fine. Never thought you'd care about me or anyone else."

"I do," he mumbled quietly.

Y/n furrowed her eyebrows to look confused. As a dragon slayer you can hear the tiny things but Sting probably forgot about that ability. She knew what he said and it made her heart skip a beat higher. Still she wants to make sure she wasn't mistaken, "what did you say?"

"Nothing." He said pretty quickly. He is quite a bad liar.

The short dragon slayer sighed and got up and exited the tent and went to a lake that was far way to bathe. The camp didn't provide restrooms or shower rooms. Making sure that no one was around, she stripped herself and entered the water and staying close to the edge.

Rogue and Sting also decide to bathe but didn't know that Y/n was already there until they stopped and saw her form. The ravenette turned his head to the side while the blonde had his mouth parted. The short girl sensed some presence and opened her eyes to see the Twin Dragon Slayers standing there. Her whole body went beat red in embarrassment, "Earth Dragon, Rock blast,"two giant rocks rise up from the ground and were thrown at their heads. Y/n covered her body with a towel and stood there all stiff, "what are you perverts doing here?"

"We came by to swim but I guess the lake is taken, so we decided to just leave," explained Sting, while rubbing his head.

"Sure didn't look like it."

"You don't have to believe us. Since you're done, how about you take a hike?"

"Probably I should. I gotta take my training seriously since everybody thinks it's vacation. Imma be ten times stronger than ya'll."

Sting snickers, crossing his arms, "A small ant like you won't be as powerful like us."

Y/n turned her back them. She crossed her arms and then raised one, placing a finger on her chin, smirking, "Call me names all you want blondie, but never underestimate my dragon slayer magic. You think you are all mighty just 'cause ya'll are the number one dragon slayers but remember no one can compare to me. Just because I rarely show my magic, it doesn't make me weak. You haven't seen me used them. Maybe I should test it on you two. How 'bout it?" She turned her heels on them.

The white dragon slayer huffed and smirked, "Now we're talking. I've been waiting for this moment. Y/n, you're going down."

Y/n chuckled, "Not. But if I am, I'm taking you two down with me."

"We'll see, midget-"

Boom. The small dragon slayer didn't give them enough time to prepare themselves. She casted the dragon bomb spell. The girl also transformed into a black pixie dress and matching flats, along with one black bracelet on each wrist . Her hair was put into two pigtails. The ends of her hair were red.

Rogue panted, "You're playing dirty Y/n-chan."

"It's a warm up. The real game hasn't started yet." The h/c girl then transforms into a baby blue two-piece suit, shirt and shorts with knee-high boots. Her now white hair was put into a ponytail. "Expleca Sparkle!" Tiny metal balls were blasted at them and then exploded.

Sting did a back flip and then casted his spell, "Holy Ray!" Slashes flew in the air at Y/n. She immediately dodges every one of them but misses one which let a small cut to her cheekbone.

The small girl hissed and transformed into her Green Lightning Dragon Slayer form . Smoke surrounded her. Her suit was a light green silk jumpsuit and same colored boots. Her h/c hair bounced along the hot air. "Green Dragon, Roar!" The green strikes of lightning zoomed in no second at the Twin Dragon Slayers. They both jumped and rolled on their body. Rogue ran and jumped, kicking Y/n directly in the stomach. She coughed out small petals of blood and landed on her back. Sting sat on her, straddling her legs. He had her pinned down.

"Wake up! Are you trying to kill us?!"

Y/n blinked her eyes multiple times, and looked around, "Aren't we training?"

Sting tsked, "You took it too far, almost killing us. You won, okay. I apologize for underestimating you."

The armored dragon slayer smiled cheekily, "What was that? I couldn't hear."

The blonde backed up, "I am not repeating myself, midget. You heard me all right."

"Fine, apology accepted. I think you should get off of me, you're kind of heavy."

"Sorry that my body is in good shape, I exercise everyday to stay healthy."

Y/n's heart fell into her stomach. She doesn't know why she feels like this. He basically fat shamed her. She wasn't fat nor fit, more around chubby. But why should she care what Sting says? It's oblivious he doesn't like her, for the way her body is. He let it all out super clear and bold. The girl didn't say anything and just walked away with a straight back. She couldn't let him see her confused form. Y/n was so insecure with her body and always looked down on it. A tear slipped from her eye, she placed her hand on her stomach, I should exercise more often then.

Sting realised what he said, and stared directly at her retreating form. She couldn't had taken that seriously. I didn't mean for the joke to come out like that. Ugh, I'm an idiot. He mentally slapped himself.

Rogue placed a hand on his shoulder, "You know your feelings are to oblivious. Y/n knows you like her. You shouldn't have said those things. She's so sensitive by heart and takes everything as a judgement. When are you going to stop acting hard? Tell her how yo-"

"Dude, you know I can't. The ma-"

"You can keep the relationship a secret."

"Like you said, I can't hide my feelings. I'm to unmindful. I can get kicked to the curve."

"True. Well somehow you got apologize and sort things out with her. Big time. Otherwise, you're gonna lose her."

"Yeah," blonde sighed but something clicked, he turned to his friend, "since when do you give advices?"

The raven-haired sweat dropped and stiffen his body, "I don't know, but I can tell you one thing and you better not tell anyone."

Sting placed his hands on his waist, "what is it?"

"I keep my friendship with Y/n a secret. I know her more than you. Probably you should do what I am doing and learn how to control." Sting hummed and thought about. They both left to go swimming.
