Chapter 5: What You See Is All A Lie

Valker makes his way back home with James and the spot a search party the didn't look to friendly so they dove into the bushes to hide from them. Most of them pass when the get out of the bush and start moving. As they turn the corner to do so, a guard shines there flashlight towards them. Valker freezes but then, the guard goes on his way. Valker knows something is up and he needs to find what it is. Later when they are only a block from home, James grabs Valker's arms and tells him to go to where that campfire is. Valker is confused and does so but that is incredibly strange due to how James normally acts. The fire grows with blue light and other men like James stand around it. Everyone greets him with a "Hello" or "Greetings", each with a different accent. Valker asks why he is here, everyone goes silent. One of the ghosts bravely says "Look at your feet." A weird thing to say but does so anyway. As he looks down he sees a bright orange glow emitting from his feet. At first he was confused but in an instant, everything comes together. All that he had done. What James was actually and most importantly why he was here. Valker's smile fades. His body shaking. His eyes open as he realized what he had just done... THE END
